You read the Bible without asking questions, according to the Bible God did all creation by himself but when it comes to human he said let us create man in our image . So he can create the earth with all animals alone but can't create a single man by himself. Think that story is not clear

I’m an African American woman who is married to an Igbo man. I have spent plenty of time in Nigeria but once I got to the village, my eyes 👀 were opened! This is how I got curious about Igbo spirituality, this is how I found your channel. I don’t know who my ancestors are beyond my great grandparents, so my husband took me to see ezewanyi, and she told me some things but she couldn’t answer who my chi was directly and no one in my father’s family even knew of this person because she had died before they were born. And my father in law took me to make a sacrifice to Adugbae, and he introduced me to her water and told her why I had come. So I worship my husband’s gods, how can I come to know my own? 🙂 I may not even be Igbo and I don’t want to be disrespectful towards my own. Some of my prayers have been answered I believe because they know my situation, but my biggest prayer has not been answered, but I go to water regularly.

I’m in America and am curious about making Ikenga Ndichie. Should me and my husband have separate ones and how do I make my prayers if he is the one that has to do kola nut and nzu for me? Some things are private?

@@NkemOnyeka12 once the Ikenga is a symbol of your ancestors then how and when you venerate them is your call. Unless you want to sacrifice a fowl/goat/cow to it that is where your husband or any other male(son) can come in.

Is it right to use human blood as sacrifies? Do you think traditionalist that uses human blood in the name of sacrificing to their ancestors are evil?
