Hi there, on the way to sun temple both you and Mordarim keep flying over a super easy level 25 (with lvl 25 armour) chest. you can farm it within 5 secs. is that chest subpar (i.e. loot table) or truly just an oversight? cheers. p.s.: you can see it in this video at 28:44, the ring plateau to your left. cheers caipa. pps.: love the videos you released so far, keep up the good work.

Wow... epic adventure! :) Can I throw in some extra little things you could do along the way, just to make an epic trip even more epic! These may be risky, so placing down an altar at each point while you raid it is advisable. Pickup the Ring of Rapacity from Willow Crush while you are there: 4:20 The extra +20% mana regen will let give you limited use of the inf. updraft ability, make your trip that much easier/safer Pickup wheat (One of a few locations for wheat): 25:30 just before you cross the short bridge in kindlewaste, the wheat can be found in that little stopover. Pickup grapple fruit (only location i know its found): 26:15 Rose Shell Burrow, its safe to grab the plants below, just don't go in the dark side rooms. Lots of good plants in there. An optional safe best loot farm gold chest can be found just west of Scatterbone also, you'd want to glide from top of Glider tower west to the rock mountain (or climb up to it), Drop down the south western edge where you can barely see a small wooden catwalk sticking out just above the shroud. on that ledge you'll find a gold chest sitting on some rubble. Place a flame nearby for easy farm without having to deal with hostiles at scatterbone. :) Side note: At 31:20 you can press E on the bookcase to slide it over, don't need to break it. :P

Love all your guides. You actually show the "the map locations and then show the route. So many guides show the map at the beginning then it's off to the goal, never to see the map again. Your videos show the map again and again, THANKS. Some of us get lost easy.

exactly - I really dislike videos where the name leads you to believe that you'll be able to see where that person is on the map and track how they get to the location - almost no creators do this - OR they do a terrible job of explaining how to get to the location you need. I think *Most* people get lost super easy. There's no way to look at terrain on this scale and size (Without having first hand knowledge of it already) and know where you are/where you're going. Why most KZreadrs neglect to realize this is beyond me.

Thank you for the videos. ****UPDATE**** Getting to the Sun Temple in the very South East, when hugging the wall, can't be done as easily now. They added the Higher lvl shroud very close to the wall. There is a spot in there to get to but you can't just hug like you did anymore. I ended up just tunneling through to the Temple. Also, the chest with the Staff you showed at the very end is also cover by the higher lvl shroud now. If you can get it open fast enough and loot then maybe you can still get that chest at lower lvls.

All you have to do to reach any height in this game is place a flame alter, use your build hammer and terrain editor to make floating steps to the max build height. Then you make a 2x2 platform, remove and replace your alter on the 2x2 and repeat the process. Doing this lets go over or through any mountain, get over deadly shroud or just make a tower high enough to glide anywhere. The pillars of creation are high but when you do this and make a floating platform as high as you can possibly build dead center of the map you REALLY can glide anywhere. You can also use these temporary floating steps to get to the top of towers if you don't feel like do the puzzle...

nice video, thx! got my base on the same pillar of creation yesterday. took me around 3 hours without doublejump just building 2 bases up with staircases over and over, delete the one before, build newer ones etc. only one is the last waypoint. but i think i can do it today

Farmed that little tomb chest 50+ times. It seems heavily weighted for archer stuff for me. 2 full sets of eagle eye armor and a bunch of bows with some wands and swords sprinkled in.

At 28:45 as you glide down, there is a gold chest just sitting on top of the hill to the left, in front of the sand-covered ruins you can see below and behind that hill. Also you can dig up that sand and find like 5 chests in that once you gear up.

This video is great. I did the same. But I built more to get over to the other side. Once I got to the other side, I was already lvl 15, started at lvl 8 now im lvl 25 just from farming my gear on that side

Honestly I am more interested in the regular progression and not some speedrun. Still the video is great.

Also whenever you place altar you can delete terrain with build hammer at no cost, for example you can make whole mountain as ladder without no blocks at all

One thing he forgot to mention is that the end game gear can be equipped but it's damage and performance, glider is the exception, will scale with your level. The closer you get to 25 the stronger it'll be. There's a hidden door below the area with the first chest. If you go opposite of the wall where the four sparks are nabbable there's a small staircase down. Turn right and there's some rubble blocking a doorway. Four swings near the top will clear it and inside the room is another chest. There is another skeleton in there so be careful.

the altar at the sun temple you can put it higher and bypass all the puzzle and the locked door and straight up landing where the chest is

If you walk down the stairs after you pick that tomb chest treasure, there’s a wall you could break with pickaxe and get another tomb chest treasure in the sun temple 😄

Save some inventory space and carry 18 stone instead of 3 altars (which don't stack). You can craft them anywhere in the world, without any crafting station. Also, you reset your skills at the Flame Altar, not the Blacksmith.

As of the latest patch the shoud is positioned slightly different. Whole route remains the same with the exception at the the Sun Temple. You cannot follow the same path around the mountain, as there is shroud blocking your way. Buuut, you can get over/through the mountain "minecraft " style. Gear farm is still working as of today.

Made a new character to try and I found u don’t even need to mine or wall to scale pillars of creation, u just have to run double jump and rolls, might have to wait on stamina but that more my style

Thanks for the video. I really like your videos. Personally I think the developers should patch out this kind of exploit as it hurts the feeling of progression. It would be pretty easy to do. - Step 1: Only allow Flame Altars to be placed on certain level areas (Scaling with Flame LVL ofc). - Step 2: Make certain terrain only breakable by a certain tier of pick-axe. It would be nice if they enable server settings for these though to allow those that would like to cheese the progression.

Translation. Someone doesn't play the game the way I play it and even though what they do has absolutely zero effect on me and my character I'm going to whine and bitch about it.

I watched a video yesterday of a person that got the ghost glider with a level 2 character, regular glider and zero armor. They died once on the way and used a few food buffs. They also took a more direct route too.

the first bridge (4.40) i just run and jumped my way cross the bridge, timer goes very fast but becouse the cloud is low you can reset the timer every time you jump becouse every time you jump you kinde exit the cloud, i died 3 times but just becouse i first needed to see the layout of the bridge becouse there are some holes etc. ( dont mind my englis😅 )

Well if you just wanna farm gear upgrade flame 2 times and enemies will not spawn inside. But chest will reset after every quit. Also one more chest is behind dirt wall inside

honestly i did this (at a slower rate) and after 35 hours i am now bored of the game... theres nothing to achieve or do after all that really so be careful using this

Where can you get the Large Backpack ? Haven't been able to find out anything on it yet. The one you can make from Hunter is the Medium, once you get the Hand Spindle and Flax.

When I got to the Pillars of Creation part (doing quests and such through the first two areas, so was probably level 16` or so?) I was on a quest for something for one of the NPCs (carpenter, I think? His masonry tools?) I noticed the chasm had two sides that led to area 3, that is, had two ramps up - off to the right was a ramp leading to a big puzzle building, the ramp to the left was blocked by a big pile of rubble you'd slide off and die, I presumed. So I just dug up the left ramp through the rubble and SKIPPED the silly puzzle building! Level 24 now and STILL haven't "finished" it. But I keep wondering if there was any lore or side quest parchments in it... Anyone know that answer? :)

The Sun Temple chests can drop a wide variety of things. While I didn't get a legendary wand I did get an epic one multiple times. It's iffy on what you get because it's pulling from an enormous pull of things. For me it took maybe three hours to get the full Sharpshot set. Chest was a bit of a pain to get and the boots just wouldn't happen for a good while. You have to get lucky is all.

Lmao, right at the end. I just dug a hole through the mountain 😅

The guide is nice but playing the game is kinda a not a bad experience other than the constant grind for resources and sometimes the ridiculously op enemies and the one shots I got even tho I have the best armor and maxed out Tank but ye just play the game guys and have fun with it 😄

5:25 do you know there’s a bridge right? you can just walk across and doesn’t require you to glide at all. I personally did a guide video on the fastest way and most efficient way to get the ghost glider, and it still is and will always be the fastest and most efficient way to get it. There is only one spot where you need a glide across and one spot where you need to build a base and everything else there’s bridges to walk across for you just need to explore the map and you’ll find them

Seems like that video only covers the glider, this video covers like a dozen things to unlock including a ton more tips you want to pick up during the run. The fastest way would be to build an infinite tower to the top of the world and glide to the easy, very boring and not gonna unlock you anything while youre at it
