Finally a video showing the map and how to get exactly to location....refreshing.

I used my alter to build stairs up to the tall peak to the right of the temple tower. From there I just glided to both crates.

As of the latest patch released in March 2024, there are 3 to 5 level 30 mobs waiting for you when you drop down, to get that second chest and the dragon-birds will no longer ignore you, they will hunt you down and they hit hard! Best of luck and thanks for the videos... you rock!

And the way on the left round the rock is now only walkable with a Lvl 6 flame. One have to take a way "through the sandstone".

You guys are always missing the absolute best spot imho for the endgame armor sets... From the Kindlewaste Fasttravel point fly south on the first bit of land a third of the way betwean the spire and the south eastern most sun temple, there is a tomb covered by sand. Remove the sand and you find a small tomb with 4 silver chests (lvl25 drops) and 4 to 5 skeleton enemies. I usually get 2 set pieces per run. if you place your altar just right, you can keep the entrance open (inside building area) without covering the chests... A bonus golden chest sits on top of the small sand hill a view steps west of the tomb entrance...

Yeah but you have to run around and kill level 30 skeletons, open doors, etc. This spot is more efficient, imo. I don't use the route he does, i place my altar in the same spot, but then run to the window down and to the left. Smash it, run up stairs, open chest, repeat.

Try it now, 3 months later. You may change your mind. Many more skeletons, and a couple scythe guys just for added fun. And on my multi death single run, a common staff. Really?

also there is another high end loot chest at the top of the temple. After you get the ghost glider, go to the outside part of the same level the glider is on, and youll see a rubble pile that allows you to jump to the tip top of the temple. The chest is up there along with a birdnest that has stuff in it if i remember correctly

Really helpful, with a hidden gem in the form of the location of the third button for this place (the other 2 are on the outside, left and right side of the temple front) Cheers.

Aside from the jump across to the broken stairway, you don't need to break the grating to get the gold chest below. Just behind you is a stairway leading right down and across from it. If you were going for raw time to get, your method is probably a second or two faster, but the outcome's the same without having to wear down a pickaxe eventually.

@@juicys_gametime skeletons with such altar, the area protect the building and make everything respawn, but it still prevent skeleboy to spawn on this side.

At 3:31 Just left of your stamina bar, there's a gold chest that can be farmed even faster. It spawns on that small raised platform just left of the stamina bar, you can place an altar right next to it, meaning you only have to run like 20m from the altar on spawn. Not sure if there's something it cannot spawn, but it's how I got all the bows and armors, haven't used it for long enough to find the ring (if it's even possible there).

Its also worth mentioning that at this gold chest location is a lot of groups of vases to smash and farm high end things like leather and paper, also loads of metal scraps. Also a flame altar just feet away to give 4x sparks.

And two level 30 bad guys that might take issue with your being there.

3 months later, and I hope you see and read this. First, I appreciate your videos as they've helped keep me from floundering too much. But at this Temple, things have changed. As you round the corner and see the temple, that bit of shroud in your video has been expanded. It's also deadly shroud. I have my base at level 5, but it was taking my health. I just managed to drink a large potion before dying and jump glided out. There's also a couple lvl 30 scorpions along your path, they both agro'd, but only one followed me all the way. Luckily a staff and wand were enough. Then, I don't think ignoring the drakes is possible anymore, as the first agro'd, followed me back inside and immediately one shot me. Did got the glider after two attempts. As for the armor, the two lvl 30 enemies agro'd on my first 3 tries of flying thru the window. I found it much easier to go down the stairs opposite that window, turning right all the way, and the coffin is right there. I've been in about 80-100 times now and they've only agro'd about 5 times. If they leave no time to esc/return to main menu, run back up and jump back out the window you came in. And I don't know if they changed the math on rare vs epic vs legendary, but out of all those times, I've only gotten 4 (out of 50+) legendary weapons. Still trying to fill in a full armor set for each class and hoping for legendary staffs and wands. So... I don't know if you would want to update this video or wait until another major update, but thought people should know. Thanks.

Watch out for the lvl 30 dual wielding Greenies that are in the area and in pairs! And well you may be able to ignore the Dragon Birds but there sure as heck don't ignore you - LOL! Its also a great way to accumulate Salvage Coins. I wonder if this exploit will get nerfed....

You could also climb the mountains and over the mismas by spamming flames, so you can build brigdes and stairs. I recommend double jump for that and like a stack of stones.

from the farming that chest is lower percent on the high ticket items then the one at the top left of the map in the cave behind the rubble wall. bring tons of lock picks ;)

Please show us the recipe locations and best framing for all meds in elden ring. Will do this for all of elden ring watchers and players?

u can also use the stairs ^^

there are a total of 3 chests in that sun temple from which you can get the endgame items. there's one that's hidden behind a pile of rubbles on the ground floor, you'll need to use a pickaxe to dig into the hidden room.

There is another chest in that same area down the stairs and behind a rubble-blocked wall. I would do the run, dodging the skeletons when they charged, getting both chests. At first the second chest seems like it has a slightly lower chance at the better items, but I did get pieces of the armor set as well as legendary weapons out of it as well. And everyone says the chest is the most rare piece, but for me it was by far the gloves. I had multiple of every other armor piece before I got even one glove for each set.

The Elder Chest pice took ages to drop for me, but the gloves were a close second for sure. The other chest is not worth the additional time to farm on each run imo, most of the chests in this area have the same loot table drops. But glad you got the full set eventually!

excellent video... However you don't need to smash the metal bars you can just veer to the right and take the stairs down to the chest.. this also ensures you wont have to deal with those pesky skeletons

There's a MUCH faster farming method. There's a lv 25 legendary chest on a cliff near the Sun Temple (to the west) where you can drop an altar just outside the range of the chest, and you can just spawn, open, spawn, open, spawn, open. No parkour or breaking grates or anything.

On the sun temple, why only show the lock picked door, since there is another way in that does not require lock picking only an ax for the glider

after breaking the grate to jump to the brken staircase, it's way easier to just drop down onto the ledge and walk round

Skyrim has another mod which requires creation club points to purchase the mod called echoes of the vale apparently it an player home in the forgotten vale also has a quest and a few items and weapons in it you could try making a video about it please.

how do you get a pickaxe like yours in this video, someone please tell me. I love watching your videos. They are very helpful.

there is a 2nd chest hidden room on the last floor behind the rubble beware of the skelly in the room.

2:00 Worth mentioning in case you prefer damage over armor Gloves from this set is garbage and you'll get better stats from a level 23 crafted. Radiant Paladin gloves have higher armor, but only marginally, so pretty much any level 23 gloves are preferable. 2:23 Likely. Additionally, gloves might be missing damage to flying enemies.

also dont need to continually break the grate, if you7 restart the map and the flame is in the location where you have it no mob spawns, so jump the wall abovfe the stairss and run down them :)

If you forget to come with a altar or stone, you can always get stone by smashing the styli in the surrounding buildings

did they nerf the dropchance? got 1 legendary out of 10 tries

Are these instructions still viable since the recent update?

Tbh I have been farming some of these locations , but I got a lot more satisfaction making my own warrior set, which I might add looks fn awesome , I spent a good chunk of my day making it , the flipping padding was the most time consuming…logging in logging out kinda ruins the spirit of the game…the lvl 23 set I made makes a huge difference, I enjoy the game a lot more now.

Apart from defense, the crafted soldier set gloves and helm are better than the radiant paladin bc they have extra stats. The other pieces are the same (paladin’s have higher defense).

There is no door I have not been able to open with brute force. I use either the pickaxe or the explosives found laying about, usually takes 10.

So funny, breaking the window when you just need to use the stairs to your right XD

So the spire video says you need the glider first and says to watch this video to learn how to get it, but then this video tells you to watch the spires video and this location is in the last spire. Stack overflow.

Trying to get the elder set myself, been here for about 3 hours now, only got 3 out of 5:(

It’s more efficient if you glide to the tower, farm the top chest,then the tomb,them the two bosses and the chest in the cave, they all drop the legendary stuff, but you get more attempts per run.

was this method nerfed? farmed for over an hour after the new update and 0 legendary armor

i left the game and went back in, it didn't reset, it was empty did they patch this or i have to put the flame altar far away does anybody know?

The Paladin Set isn't worth it right now. It might have slightly higher armor values, but all the stats on it are lower than the ones on the crafted soldier set. This is probably a bug / oversight, because the Elder and Eagly Eye Set both offer higher armor values as well as higher stats compared to their crafted level 23 variants.

Take note: Ring of Ancients doesn't work. Check attributes page can see no change to stats hp/mana. Currently bugged item. That is not best location farm chests, keep mind 2 typs of Golden chest. Need farm is Orante golden chest not Golden chest, Not sure difrance from Golden coffin vs Golden chest. North of deep cut find Ornate chest near sand buried ruin temple thing.

Am I crazy or the high tier craftable armors are juste straight up better?

Today I found out that the path on the left is now in the deadly shroud but I dug my way up on the right up the mountain and got there. The enemies are fierce though.

I find also few pieces of archer set outside that tower in the small buildings with lot of enemies.

I was on my way to getting the final chest until I ran into some level 30 enemies and died several times. xD

I cant find the Helix Wand,.,, :( I tryed 117 places...

How do u get up a little when you are in the sky? how do u boost?

It's an ability unlocked from the talent tree. I believe it's one of the green circles somewhere on the right side of the menu called Updraft

actually there is one more chest where we can farm legendary armour and weapons in the same sun temple... below infront of the main gate left side there is a ruble.. we need bomb to smash the ruble then we see legendary chest just like above but with one enemy... defeat the enemy and the chest is yours.

Feels lime you're a week behind. There is a much better chest for farming gear further west at a cliff edge.

can you give more description of the location or a link to an image of the map location please?

Instead of knocking out the iron grate every time, just use the stairs to the right of the grate and BOOM there it is! Much easier.

stamine -350 delay thingy aint the craziest one, ive had boots that gave me -500 stamina regen delay @ESO

I'm not sure if I like how everything respawns like that when logging out, kind of reduces the challenge of it.

TBH i agree, but they literally don't have enough chests in the level 25 area for you to find the full armor sets playing the game normally.

i don't think it works anymore; not for me, or not for multiplayer at least. The loot doesn't respawn after relogging in.

I just have the shitiest luck lol. After roughly 3.5 hours of looting and resetting the chest I filled 2.5 medium chests with just weapons of mostly rare quality with a handful of legendary. I did manage to gather a full set of each armor. Saw only 2 rings and both were the same, Ring of Mana. The other bonus is collecting a large amount of metal scraps from breaking the bars in the window. I think I ended up with close to 200 pieces even with a good majority falling where I couldn't loot them. WARNING: The floor with chest there are 2 level 30 npc's that you will most likely agro if you're lower level. I'm level 16 and I agro'd at least one every single time but I only died the first time because I didn't know they were there lol. If you happen to die, for myself the tombstone spawned up in the window I jumped from which made it great for looting without worrying about the npc's getting me again lol. There was a few times I agro'd the npc once I broke the bars over window so just remember to be as quick as you can. Also while climbing up to the chest with glider I agro'd one of those birds when I grappled past the stairs and it followed me all the way up to the chest but thankfully it never attacked. Just something else to look out for if you're low level.

@@bruselchen I'm assuming you meant to say nerfed. I figure at some point it will happen but it hasn't happened yet. I just went to this chest and it still does what it did when I posted my original comment. One thing that was never mentioned in the video is you have to be careful how you place an alter. You need to make sure the red border line from the alter is on the outside of the chest. If the chest falls within the border line it will not reset. I had this problem when I first started looting this chest. Best way to know if the chest is not inside the border of your alter is while running to the chest have the pickaxe equipped so the border line shows up.

The way the loot respawn works in this game is bizarre to me. I kinda get why they do it, but I expect them to put some sort of minimum respawn timer in once they more properly persist the full game state in real-time.

the close and reload game is kind of a bug. Normal time is three days in game for things to respawn.

@@tommychon69 It is not a bug as most play on singleplayer, that resets as soon as you reload. On a server, that reset timer is 3 hours for stuff like chests and bosses. The game to me feels no reason to need other players though, not like it is hard, or other players add to the fun. Like in most games, other folks suck. So the servers feel pointless without some editor option to IDK make up custom quests and stories for some ad hoc RPG fun. Having more than one person does not mean you die any less flying around landing in red BS floor is lava. The only thing even slightly hard in the game. The odd part about it is all the difficult sets crafting can be skipped and you can just loot chests for the end-game stuff.

I been having a hard time getting the flame to lvl 4. That wyvern is a pain

Hello! If you still are having a problem with it: An easy way to defeat the wyvern that I found during my playing? Stun it. The wyvern has the following attack patterns: 1. Jump/Tail attack to cover distance to wherever you are? 2. A charged breath attack that attacks with a dragon like beam/breath attack towards you. 3. An AOE bombardment attack where the wyvern stands on its hindlegs and then shoots 4 shots of shroud inflicted orbs towards the sky, that rain down around where you are and other places. 4. The summon attack that calls in the shroud critters. The 4th attack (the summon) is very, very obvious as the wyvern stops, starts to shake a tad bit, and there's a glow at its mouth with an audio cue. It is in no way similar to the breath attack as it tends to 'load up' onto its hindlegs and charge up the breath with its head slightly cocked back. When the orb of light for the summon attack comes and the audio cue plays? Use a bow (easier) or wand (depends on your expertise with one) to shoot its mouth. It will get stunned for a few seconds, which is your turn to pile on the damage. I personally dislike the other 'leader' type bosses because I prefer melee with a bow for ranged stuff like buttons or such. It makes my life hell the way they can sometimes ignore parry or blocks even if well timed.

Just fyi you made that path to the chest much more complicated than needed. Once you jump through the balcony just run down the stairs. No reason to go through that grate

They changed this so it's not as good. 04AM the youtuber shows a new and better one that takes 2 seconds.

I play a mage and I gotta say, I cannot stand the way the mage armor looks. It doesn't go with the mage theme at all. I sacrifice stats for style and just rock the healer armor and a wizard hat. I survive just fine with that set.

unfortunately it looks like this is not working anymore, i have tried the grind a few times and only epic/rare stuff spawned in that chest.i have noticed a few micro patches downloaded off steam updates a few times in the past few days, the greedy devs have probably saw your video and patched it up. :-(

Instead of breaking the window and going up why don't you just build a staircase from your base and get closer to the door to lock pick, and to farm the chest instead of breaking the window and jumping down through that small crack, just jump down the staircase to your right😅

They definitely hella nerfed this chest.

Saying that the chest armors are the best is downright false. Stat wise for example, melee builds shouldnt wear the full set, some of the soldier set is still way better.

All it gives me is common quality.

the devs of this game obviously favored magic users and absolutely hated thief/ranger/rouge type classes as the armor for those builds are fucking horrendous lol

What's the point of playing the game if you are just going to cheese it like this?

I stopped watching this when the other video you referred us to refers us to yet another video. So, it would have been helpful at the outset of this video you said that you have to have the flame altars to at least level four or forget it. Talk about click bait. Do better ESO.

Nah i found and made better armor. This stuff doesnt look good, looks cartoonish and the skirts are stupid.

That's most disappointing it's cheating...what's the point in playing an adventure game ..its adventure I hope I can find the armour set pieces in different locations or is that the only place to get all...
