Tailor made I agree Villa is too slow and would need to catch boots coming in but it took rounds before he was able to catch speedy Ellis y'all can say boots is gifted and some real boxing fans would think about it as favored by the PBC and would have to agree he's been gifted a career and doesn't take on the dangerous fighters but of course if he does in the PBC anyone who watches boxing see he's become a favorite of the black fans and PBC does like making star's for them to feel dominant.

Just my personal opinion, Boots should have at least tried to “bump in” with his shoulder to close the distance AND be defensively responsible. It’s not a technique to live by but it gives the OP something else to think about and varies the look when trying to close the distance. Great work as always.💪🏿

Villa is going to pop shotted a lot. Speedy was doing that already but he didn’t have the stamina or ring generalship to hold ground or take a break which is why he got caught. Boots will.

Another great analysis. Speed with power can disrupt any fighter's game plan; I think body shots will cause Villa more trouble, bone heads are always difficult to hurt because of their thicker bone mass/density, but the liver or kidneys are not so dense.

I was the only dude who wanted to see Ennis vs Besputin before he fought Karen. I always wanted to see how Ennis would overcome that type of active footwork. The Karen fifht was a gopd indication to me that he would have diffculties. Nobody at WW moves like Besputin. So luckily for Ennis, I don't see him having to walk down a majority of opponents.

This has the makings of a very interesting fight. I'm really looking forward to watching how it plays out. Neither fighter can be accused of being a ducker..

It's a weak matchup for a guy whose supposed to be some great boxer Villa had 12% punches landed to Ellis 42% punches landing so it doesn't make sense to keep seeing boots get easy fights he's obviously a PBC favorite and it's a black dominance organization with your favorite of all time floid and his team building star's like wrestling probably choreographed too you know like a rehearsal those contracts at PBC are for slaves if you know about boxing it has been turned into a pumpkin Cinderella. 😂

As guys have already written, I feel like Villa is WAY too simple and straight forward for Ennis, he'll have hundreds of openings to land a KO shot and will easily set up all things he wants to... Villa has a food chin but some guys hit different and Boots is one of them The white dude lost every round but the reason he went 12 was because he was super strategic to avoid getting hit using footwork and not trying to brawl This kid will try to brawl and will get dropped

I think you can see from the way he's kind of carelessly cutting off the ring that he does not respect the other man's power. If you kept that kind of footwork up against a strong puncture then you might have some problems. Boots wins over Villa, but not without eating some of Villa's heavy shots. I think he Prides himself in his opponents faces, that he can withstand their best but in a judge's eye, that may be a detriment and scored, not in his favor, leading to an unnecessary loss.

Boots ain’t get tired he literally never sat down

He's not ready for Crawford or Spence yet, they'll pick him apart. One, (Spence) will keep him in the pocket trading and Spence will tear his body up. That back foot, unbalanced habit would fall prey to Crawford and land him on the canvas, leading to an 8 count then back in and Crawford beats on him and the Ref stops the fight.

This fight was made to showcase boots and help us forget about his last outing. He needs to see styles that’ll challenge him though. This’ll be a devastating ko win for boots

when will Boots fight a real opponent? All the praise for this guy, not saying he doesn't have potential. But boxing has changed so much, the days of the greats sugar ray leonard, Mike Tyson and many others, they were fighting top opponents before the age of 25. Now these guys fight to pad their records. Look at Floyd early opponents.. Boxing is at a sad state.. Make more competitive fights.

Boots is overrated he's been fighting 30+ year old men for the last 4 years and when he got a 27 year old Karen he couldn't put him away his strength is a hype job his skill is decent but I don't see Villa getting knocked out from this guy he's never been stopped and is hungry his body made of gold and it won't be stopped I even fancy him punishing Boots with power punches and Boots being more hesitant to throw punches this is a distance fight with Boots running away for most of it

Do you understand how the PBC operates? It's up to the top brass and although you see a few different faces talking for PBC you know it's up to Haymon or floid at the end on who fights who and everyone under contract or better said under control has no say on who they fight it's not up to the fighters to make decisions for their own career they belong to the elites at PBC . That's why it takes so long for boxing to make it about the skills of a fighter it's about the star's and those are who are favored.
