Sounds more like surf rock than Western. I don't know if it's the key or chords used and the beat, but it doesn't sound the same. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Just something I thought about.
@Wolfoe-ex2jj

It's the beat. I was watching a video which examined how similar surf and spaghetti western music was. It touched on how both revolved around similar chords and a near identical tone but were differentiated by the beat. Surf was felt more consistently and western was felt with a horse like gallop.

Simon Ritchie same scales and leads and a lot of surf, just not the beat, tempo or rhythm. But I've noticed that all my life and I know it's a short one but the styles of musics are very similar but a lot of scales and leads get repeated because there's only so many notes appealing to the ear but not a bad thing probably inspired the composer and with the dual jaguars help with the sound like the other commenter said, because all the surf bands were using fender jazz masters so they built the jaguar to accommodate all the surf players but it half and half caught on since surf was short lived then grunge and rockabilly , psychobilly, and. Fender enthusiasts brought the sound back and the guitar
