this was an overwhelmingly negative perspective of an 8, and doesnt really provide an unbiased description of it.

@@hiz24airness Pleas explain how is people thinking you are angry when you are not, a positive thing? How is seeking out conflict a good thing? This video claims that 8's have an emotional undercurrent of anger about feeling unprotected, which they deal with by seeking power. I honestly don't comprehend how you can see any of this shit as positive. This video describes a traumatised person who overcompensates their weaknesses by becoming a control freak

@@justindavis2711 yes because you're overlooking balance. Everyone has limits, scars, insecurities etc... It's called being human. How you do with these issues is what matters. Being honest with your negative emotions, copping mechanisms or learned reactions isn't a bad thing. It is what it is. As a matter of fact its empowering, because now you can do something about it. You can't help how people take you, but at least if you're aware you don't have to take it the wrong way because you have the wisdom to see things from the other person's pov aka empathy. Majority of the video is all positive points, yet you focus on the 20% that is negative. You choose to take things as an attack on you, why not just an objective perspective? Why do you choose to take a critique as bad thing instead of an opportunity?

@Just_ask Im not an 8, i dont take this as an attack on me, and your assumption about that is kind of weird. Maybe you are reading emotion into my words that arent there? My comment has a decent amount of likes so im not alone in seeing the unbalanced nature of this video. There are 4 comments on this video that are negative, and two that are neutral. I think its clear here that you arent seeing this through the lens of the average person. I've watched a few other videos on 8's and read up on this. So you arent going to change my mind here, especially when the majority opinion is not in your favour.

Nobody agrees that it is better to be feared than loved and if they do how can they be generous. They feel unprotected and charge ahead ? So contradictory. You say they seek conflict primarily and then seek the approval of others. Perhaps work a little more on your English skills, you clearly are using the wrong words.

Humans by nature are walking contradictions. Perhaps work a little more on seeing that people are complicated and less on presumptions it has to be only one way or the other.
