Morning Doug, there are and I am looking forward to using them. Regards
Can’t wait until the next instalment! Always good to see some real life events with the wood falling over as you were struggling with moving the table, exactly the sort of thing that happens to me all the time! Totally relate to the joys of working on your own 😂 every other KZreadr would have edited it out like it never happens… not you! Which is part of the reason your channel is so bloody amazing because it is real and not trying to make out everything is perfect and happens fist time. Amazing JP thank you for lifting the day. Take care 😊

@@Smallbarnworkshop Hi JP, hope my comments did not come across as being negative. It’s not that I like “mistakes” as such I just really like your honesty and how you portray real life that we can all relate to. Your channel has got to be one of my favourites and one that I continuously draw inspiration from. A big thank you 🙏

@NickFabi Hi. No not at all, It was merely a spoiler alert. I drop a couple of clangers in my next video. As you say, some channels never seem to make a mistake, but we all know that’s not the real world. Regards JP
Nice one JC. Looking forward to the next video’s.👍👍

That looks to be an excellent router lift and fence JP. The workstation is coming along very well. Is there a particular reasoning behind the use of furniture board rather than say plywood or MRMDF?
@Smallbarnworkshop

Hi Roy. Thanks. No other reason than cost. For some reason the French shops don’t stock sheet material like the UK. They are full of furniture board and MFC. 18mm ply is softwood and like life on the ocean waves and MDF is expensive ( but cheap stuff!) so like blotting paper. The last stuff I bought went mouldy in a fortnight. In 18 years I have never seen MRMDF and the last full sheet of 18mm OSB I saw was over €100. Although, 16mm flooring 2500 x 650 is relatively cheap. Thats why I use lots of Parquet flooring, good quality and cheap. Regards JP

@@Smallbarnworkshop That's very interesting JP. It seems strange that all of our UK stores are full of plywood and mdf (admittedly most of dubious quality) and yet I've never seen, over here, a length of parquet flooring such as you use in any diy store.🤔 I for one would be happy to try some as most floorboarding in UK stores is not of the best quality.
What model Makita did you use and which version does that correspond to, 65mm or 69mm?
@Smallbarnworkshop

The makita needs the 65mm one. Regards JP
