Do police suspend license in latvia if they catch u drifting?

in 2 words - not immediately, but it is illegal. They call it aggressive driving. if it would be first time ever you got pulled over - no, you will need to pay fine and you also get, I believe, 6 points. if you got pulled over again in next 12 months, you get the same thing, but this time you have 12 points in total (which is maximum), in this case your license gets suspended. To renew it you need to go to driving school and pass the tests again etc. _Points go down by 1 each year._ I might not be 100% right, but something like that.

@@drivergltdeam thats not fair that it goes down only in 1 point in a year. In Lithuania if police see you drifting they immediately suspend your license they call it hooligan driving but there is some good cops sometimes

​@@driverglt here in Finland they also give you a ticket and can possibly take your license away, but strongly depends. If it is in a small backroad in the middle of nowhere, they might even let you off with a warning. You also never truly lose your license, the police just take it off from you and you get it back after a certain period. I believe 2 months for small violation and 6 months for big violation or a repeated violation.
