This commercial just popped into my head, while at work. My coworker was telling me how she had, dusted, mopped the floor, folded the laundry, & I piped in & asked, "Did you bring home the bacon & fry it up in a pan?" 😂 She didn't get it. She's about 12 yrs younger than me. The 70's & 80's had great, memorable jingles!

Enjoli perfume... I remember those commercials, I was 8. I kept asking myself "why is it such a big deal for a woman to go to work and fry bacon?" Then as I got older I realized that women were always marginalized, and the 70's was like their coming out party... Now here in 2020 (and from 2016's presidential election) I realize that woman are STILL marginalized. How sad. =M=

If I gotta work, then make your own damn food! What a recipe for burnout. My mother bought into the whole superwoman narrative of the time.
