Yang Jungwon. I’ll start by talking about your musicality, more specifically, your voice. It’s unrelated to the technicality or abilities that you have, but rather the rarity of your vocal tone. It’s that stunning, husky, resounding characteristic that completely isolates your voice from any others I’ve ever heard. The way you annunciate your words and just automatically know how and when to stress intonation makes your voice beyond charming. Your voice always sounds exactly as it does in the studio version of your songs, if not better, and that is truly most astounding. As dream-like as your voice is, you are just as fluent of a dancer. Your vigor is vastly present in every choreography and every moment you dance. It’s as if you don’t need to train on the finer movements in your choreography, but you just innately know to smooth them out for a more solid performance. To quote an Engene I once saw make this statement, it looks as if you are floating on air when you dance. Overall, as an artist of only two years, you sure have initialized quite the revolution in the way we perceive music and dance today. You are the sole embodiment of the art of performance, and it’s clear from the level you are at now, that you were just born with it. As much as I love your musicality, I love your personality all the same. One of the first traits I noticed you possess is that you are high-spirited. Even when you are feeling a bit weary, you don’t lose your signature smile and always keep your head up. You are also blatantly courageous. When you are nervous, or timid, or trying what you never have before, you don’t back down from it. You’re beyond humble and there are several instances of your actions and words that confirm this. Most notably to me, you are undeniably entertaining. You are unexpectedly funny, always teasing and poking fun of others at the wittiest of times. Above all, you are selfless and most affectionate to those who you love the most. I know your members can attest to this the most. You praise them all for their own goals and hobbies and show such interest in the many different aspects of their lives. You listen so attentively when they speak and you know so much about them. They can completely be themselves around you, and vice versa. If a member isn’t confident or becomes critical about themselves in any way, you find a way to make them see the ways in which those areas flatter and compliment the group as a whole. You are the very heart of Enhypen, and I know they look to you as a role model in every way. What I also love about your relationship with your members is that you lean on them just as much as they do you. It is just who you are to ensure your members’ happiness and satisfaction is prioritized. I heard a saying that a team is only as good as their leader, and because you put your heart and soul into Enhypen, your genuine intentions for the group’s success are being recognized and awarded to you. I know you will raise them well and they will evolve into the people they are always meant to be. You will always be their brother; their family. Thank you for changing your members lives for the better, and for being responsible for some of the greatest memories that shape who they are. I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and bringing you into the world in the way that they have. I know you want to repay them and give back to them all that they have to make your dreams a reality. I urge you to look to your family and lean on them when you need them. There is no battle you fight that will be too overpowering that your family can’t help you with, or help you win altogether. They know you, understand you, and can support you in ways that I know we can’t, so remember to continue to always put them first! Even if you feel you’ve come up short or made a mistake, your parents are proud of you either way as they just want you to be who you are. I know they will always love you and you honor them with every step that you take along your journey. As Engene, we keep them in our hearts and long to become charitably cognizant of those around us; studious and driven toward or work, school, and goals; and harbor the love and teachings of those of whom provided us with an upbringing. Jungwon, we’ve spent a lot of time together and it truly is wondrous that we are able to find solace from each other when Enhypen has never really gotten the chance to meet their fans in person without some type of regulation. You are our beacon of hope and always help us to rise above any struggles. Perhaps the most touching of the countless ways you make it known that you’re always here with us is the frequency in which you share your condition with Engene. You speak with us on a regular basis and are curious about how we spent our day as well. This might not amount to much to you, but I know that several more Engene would feel alone if not for you. I know there’s a lot of work going into what you do for us that we don’t even know about, and all Engene can do is acknowledge that and profess our deepest gratitude for you. We don’t want you to ever think you have to do anything more for us because you alone is enough for our days together to be rich, worthy, and full of meaningful adventures together. I cannot wait to make more memories with you and overcome what lies ahead together. I hope we take care of you in the same you do for us, and we will become more dependable and loving for you in the future. Thank you for helping us become better people and for allowing us to become a part of your heart. I know you have been through a lot, both personally and professionally. My heart just breaks when I hear about what you and your members have had to go through to become Enhypen, even though that’s just a part of life and obtaining what you set your sights on.. I look at your luminous, dimple-creased smile and sometimes forget that behind it lies a moving story of blood, sweat, and tears. All of this, with more to come, and yet you’re still one of the most liberated and jubilated people that I’ve come to know and love. On behalf of all of your loved ones, we are so proud of you for coming so far already and braving through the many storms you’ve faced. You rely on the people around to help carry some of the weight, as well as focus on your own state of mind to tackle any issues that arise. You teach us not to think so lowly in ourselves and to have confidence that we’re deserving of more than what we may perceive. This mentality that you keep and the productive outlook of yours that you follow is noticeably mature of you, especially at your age. I know that no matter what happens in the future, you will make it our on the other side no matter how long it takes. I hope that this birthday makes all of your dreams come true and that you get to try all that you’ve ever wanted to. If you ever question your position as a musician, a member of Enhypen, or the decisions you’ve made to get where you are today, I hope you look to your Engene to know that you are in the right place and have done exactly what you needed to! Without you, Enhypen and Engene don’t exist, and I hope you see the purpose behind all that you’ve been through. You deserve to praise yourself for doing what many can’t say they have, which is never giving up on yourself to reach your dreams. To do what you’ve done at your age deserves to be commemorated, and Engene are banding together to celebrate you every day, but especially on your special day! I know this is hella long, and it must've taken really long to type out, so tysm for typing all this. I genuinely hope Jungwon sees this comment one day, I'm pretty sure this is the best comment I've seen ever since the day I first discovered KZread and commenting. You've pointed out everything Engene love about him and even what we may, at times, fail to notice. This comment just makes me love him even more - his genuine love for the people around him and passion for his work really make me reflect on my own life; like my name literally means love but Jungwon is better at being love than I am lol. His maturity is what drew me to him and as someone who's been told a lot that I act mature for my age, I know that such maturity comes from having dealt with hardship and showing proper understanding towards valuable lessons in life, so I really can't imagine what Jungwon's been through to get to this level of maturity. I really look up to Jungwon in like every way, he's truly a one in a billion. Only you can swarm your Engene and listeners with this sentimental yet empowering feeling when we listen to your voice. You really were meant to be singing and reaching out to others with your voice that brings people together. As rich as your singing is, you match that with your advanced and professional dancing ability. You attack each choreography with precision and an insistent hunger that beckons you to let loose the dancer inside. You have impeccable awareness of your face at all moments, and it makes it easier for us to believe the words you are speaking with your body. You are able to infuse athleticism into your dancing style; even further discerning it from others’ dance types. Overall, you have become one of the leading artists of this generation. Sunghoon, you have known a certain group of people for just a few years, and yet you have barricaded them with a love far too enriched to ever shatter it. That group of people is known as your Engene; and you are a huge part of the reason we have our name and the reputation that we do. You couldn’t be more easygoing and laid-back around us; making you one of the easiest people for us to talk to. Jake. I will begin by talking about your musicality. Many singers have an aspect about their voices that make them charming, but your voice in itself is just charm. It is soft and gentle, yet there is so much passion behind it. You have this hip and cool edge to your voice which ignites the irresistible elements of Enhypen’s music to surface. It is so light to the ear yet has so much substance to it as well. It is airy and smooth; and its sound surrounds and engulfs you in its embrace. It is always exciting to listen to your voice as no one can replicate it or blanket listeners with the same gratifying sensation. On top of all of this, you are one of the most riveting dancers I have seen in a long time. Just the look in your eyes radiates this ferocity and depth so intertwined with the music and your dancing that we instantly are swept into the world you enter when performing. You reveal the hidden details of Enhypen’s choreography, but still react to the music in a way that represents who you are as a dancer. Your moves are so powerful and even the slightest of movement can guide the rest of your body into a relay of controlled and intricate movement. You really let yourself go and fade into the movement like it’s an instinct. Overall, you have become one of the most prominent artists, most specifically, in this generation; and this status has been applied in record time within the music world. You are still so young and have so much left to do, yet you are already one of the most notable breakthrough artists we have ever gotten. You’ve already greatly contributed to music, set standards, broke records, and helped open up opportunities for future music starts to make their own way. I know what you produce in the future will only continue to revolutionize the world and how music is desired in it. Your artistry, as I’ve stated, is unlike nobody else’s and I know we won’t ever get somebody like you again. As much as I love your musicality, I love your personality as well. You are one of the most genuine people I’ve ever known, and I don’t even know you personally. You are extremely intelligent and have a vast knowledge and awareness of the world. You can create a wave of laughter in mere moments from almost nothing, and that is the best type of humor. I’ve quite possibly never seen so much graciousness or candor, and I know your members can attest to this better than anybody. As you well know and have already experienced, there will be times in life when you just want to give up and you feel like you can’t escape from where you’re trapped. I know life is going to get difficult sometimes and you might get lost. When this happens, I just want you to remember that they are always going to be there for you. There is no point in your life where your situation is so dark they help you eradicate what’s ailing you or can’t at least help you. They will always be the most supportive of you and understand you better than anybody else. They are proud of you for all that you do and don’t ever think you could disappoint them. They will always love you unconditionally and you are their biggest dream. As Engene, we keep them in our hearts as you do and we will learn to live with the same compassion for every heart, faith in the people who love us most, and promise to live our lives as righteously as possible. Jake, when Engene are with you, we forget we are your fans because you make us feel like we are a part of your home. We’ve only been Engene for about two years, but you’ve already assimilated us into your culture and daily life. You really want us to be a part of your personal life outside of just being an idol, and we recognize that you don’t have to do this. You learn our behaviors, our likes, our discomforts, and create music and content based off of it. You take time out of your busy schedule to communicate with us. We can go to whenever we need because you make yourself so accessible and approachable. I hope you know you can always trust us in the way we trust you. We will always want to be ourselves as well and will maintain the optimism we know you always want us to keep. We’ve never known so much courage and determination until you came into our lives and made us feel like we can do whatever we set our sights on. We are a family and will keep together because of you teaching us to love each other. Much like with your members, I know our best days with you are only ahead and our the most precious memories will be made with you at the center of them. Thank you for showing us how to love ourselves for a life with no regrets; and so that we can love others as well. I know that you have been through a lot in your life; both personally and professionally. I know you’ve had large amounts of pressure and burdens placed on your shoulders that weigh too much for any one person to bear. It is so difficult to think about anybody going through a rough patch but it is almost unbearable to know you’ve faced what you have. On behalf of all of your loved ones and acquaintances, I need to make it known just how proud of you for overcoming what you have. Your ability to envision a brighter and more fulfilling future for yourself is stronger than most and this is a noble way to live your life. You just have an abundance of love and gratitude for your life that will always outweigh any form of negativity. You’re so young yet you’ve already displayed such a mature process of maintaining poise while fighting through a disruption in your life. We can learn from you to face issues head-on and most importantly, consider patience as the most essential virtue. I know though you may have had times that wore you out in the past, they are what made you who you are. We hope you keep up this mentality and we know that no matter how long it takes you, you will always eventually make it out a better and wiser person. I hope that all of your dreams come true and that you get to accomplish all that you wish to today. I know how unbelievably busy you all are, and I don’t know when the last time you got to take a break was. I just hope, if even for a second you get to take some time for yourself today. Jake, if ever you start to question your role in Enhypen, your life as an artist, or any part of who you are, I implore you to look to your fans. If you look at yourself how we see you, you will see the ways in which you have mended all the hurt and animosity in this world. Okay, they all did great, but Ni-Ki. Ni-Ki's dancing skill is on another level, he is truly incomparable. The fact that he's only 15, what more when he turned 20 or smth just like those well known dancers we know nowadays. This kid is a threat. I'm telling y'all, he's gonna be big BIG. He's gonna be bigger than those dancers we know, and y'all cannot do anything but to cry about it. He's THEE best and no one can change my mind, it's so obvious but still some of you are scared to say it, some are in denial. Enhypen will surely dominate the world.
