I am a huge fan of German mechanical engineering. Their cars, tools, machines, and more just seem to be so well engineered, regardless of the country of origin. Still, I find it ironic that I imported items from Germany to the USA, and the items were first imported from China.

I would love to see a review of McMaster Carrs flathead screwdriver bit set. Expensive but seem to be top notch in quality. It is a unique website. Not sure if you have ever heard of it. On there you can also find this very cool precition screwdriver set which I have been eyeing down. I can't find any videos on the tools they sell.

Weird, I didn’t get a notification about this video.. …anyway, as someone with a dad who loves Bosch tools, let me tell you and as you also mentioned those Bosch bit holders SUCK!! ….not only do they lock up from any kind of dirt or dust, but if you use them heavily in like an impact driver where they get hot; they also lock up and you have to wait for them to cool down before you can take the bit out….also if it gets any kind of dent; it also locks up, but locks up permanently. It’s a really really bad design, I really don’t understand what Bosch was thinking with that design. One thing that I want to point out that you didn’t mention (and this seems to be a common problem on Chinese made bits), specifically with Torx 10 and Torx 15. You often come across fastness where the Torx 15 bit is JUST too large to lock in place and the Torx 10 will drive the fastener but with a lot of play in it. This same problem also continues with Chinese made Torx screwdrivers….I don’t know why it’s only with those two Torx sizes, but it’s something I have noticed. Thanks for watching and commenting. I'd assume the issues with the Torx is that it's not done to DIN or ISO specification, that would explain it being oversized or undersized. I don't use those torx sizes often so I can't comment on that but I'm not surprised

@@htr5372 they claim to be made to ISO and DIN specifications and there’s usually no problem with Torx 20 and up…..it’s only with Torx 10 and Torx 15 that I have come across this problem and only with Chinese made bits and screwdrivers ….I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♂️
