A quick guide of how to unlock the speed and power for the new ENGWE P26 eBike.
On the basis of growth of individual eco transportation, more and more people are switching from public transport and cars to escooters and ebikes tremendously increasing the commuter class needs. To address this the already known ENGWE ebike maker is addressing this segment with their new P26 bike, a commuter hardtail that comes with some really interesting specifications. First of all the bike will also be available for the EU market meaning it will have legal requirements of 250W / assisted only / 25km/h but but it also "**might**" be moddable to higher end performance 😉 We also get a healthy 40Nm torque motor and a large 612Wh 17Ah 36V battery that will provide a very good range.

Is it possible to set a different speed limit for the throttle? In my country throttle is illegal over 6 kmph but i would still like to use it for getting away from a stand still.
I have a request. Could you give your settings in Volts for each five degrees of battery discharge on the display. One line according to the instructions should be 31.5V and the second and the next to the fifth line, how many volts should they be set to? It's not in the manual. Everything changed for me.

The display is fixed with screws to the handlebar by means of a bracket.
Hi, so mine is set to 60 already but it only goes 6kmh. Is there something else to adjust to make my throttle go faster?

You also need to be in assist 5 mode.

No, it saves the setting each time when you change it.

When I push the “i” and “-“ to get to the LS menu mine goes to a P2 menu. I have the same display. It’s on a young e scout bike. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

@@MarkBates-ou5ou yes. When it goes to P2 screen they gave me the code 1657 to unlock then the other options became available.

Although it didn’t go up to 55 we could increase it.

Hello, what is maximum speed when you are on the bike?

About 35km/h on ideal conditions, with high tire pressure, 100% full battery, 20+°C outside temperature. In more regular usage the top speed is around 28-32km/h.
Does this work on the Engwe engine X ?

Do you know how this works with EU versions? EU versions have program settings displayed from 1 to 19.

Mine is the EU version. It should work as long as it has the same display. If the display is different then it might unlock in a different way.

I was looking at the жидео and I did it! The speed really unlocked but I have a problem - my lights don't work! Do you know how to reset it to factory settings?

The lights are not related with controller settings, check the plugs, the wires, etc.
does that also work witht the model C20 Pro?

No, on the E26 it is different as it uses another kind of display.
i have the same display but the speed blocks me to 60 kmh..how to unlock over 60..because in this video i see you go over 63...anyone??thanks

Depends on the display version. Also it doesn't matter as the bike will do max ~35km/h so doesn't matter if you set the top limit to 40,50 or 63km/h.
I have a max speed of 28 km/h and I'm 65 kilo's.

Check brakes & tire pressure, also battery must be 100% charged to get the top speed.
