Man ! What a life saver you are! Thank you thank you and thank you again!😊😊😊❤️❤️ I just got my new 2000W SIUNIU X20 48V 30AH batt for my 64th birthday. I had an 1000W Ecotric Seagull 48V 13AH BATT and the battery went dead after 5000 miles. Pay $600 for a new battery? No! I went ahead and bought a newer ebike and will tinker with my Seagull later! But the display manual that I received was in Chinese, so I have been trying to fine tune my settings with no avail ever since. You saved me a lot of aggravation!🙏❤️❤️👍

Brilliant video my brother, like a lot of other people, I was very confused with the actual set up if this ebike. After watching so many KZread videos of people wizzing around at speeds in access of 25Mph in this bike,, I knew there had to be something I hadn't done. I've now set up the setting exactly as you have suggested in the video and also have done a throttle test with the back wheel off the floor and the speeds I'm getting now are 50 tines better. It's raing at the moment here in the UK so I'm waiting for the roads to dry up so I can give these new setting a try. I just got my bike today so will give it a good charge then go for a spin. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to show us these settings, your time and effort is very much appreciated and I am very grateful for your assistance and help in getting my Engwe Ev2 upgraded version running at optimal level. Nuff respect my don. I will add another comment with an update of the speed difference after I take it for a spin. One love and God bless. Keep up the good work. 💯👊🏽🙏

Thank u for explaining the full throttle option. I have an Lectric XP like u n when I got my Friend I set my peddle assist to 1-9 n level 1 power to 25% power. I discovered at level 1 when at a stop n going to go across a long cross walk with lots of traffic I tried using full throttle like I can on XP but but without setting it it on on Friend I found out I had no throttle power in level 1 at 25%. So now I will set my throttle to full all the time thanks again n hope this helps other Friend bike users that might have been having problem like me.

It might also be worth mentioning how to access the reset to default mode. My bike seemed to come with vastly different power settings than my wife's. Returning to default settings of my bike made both bikes work the same... With both bikes working the same way, I went did a few modest customizations using your code help. I found switching to 0-7 power levels made moving around our hilly yard (off-trail) as well as traveling on the hilly roads a much nicer experience. Having more power levels with less difference in power between levels made off-trail and hilly rides easier to manage.

Friend should be receiving a new batch this month so you’ll most likely get that faster than Lectric. If you’re willing to wait, Lectric came out with the 2.0 which is very comparable to the Friend bike. With that being said it depends what features you want. 750w vs 500w. Dual suspension vs front suspension. Mag wheels vs spoked. I covered the main differences between this and the Lectric 1.0. Check it out
