We loved this car seat! Super lightweight and easy to snap in and out of the base. We ended up getting a second base so we could easily use it in either car!

Great to hear!

The sliders have to have way to come out sense it’s a independent part. If the slider had to be replaced at the dealership would need to have a way to replace it. Another way of looking at it. You gotta ask yourself how was it assembled. I would go to a wreaking yard to make an examination. Probably removing the slider rails.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unless the kids are growing up bigger and going to colleges and we won't be using the van for transporting people, I won't take out the sliders yet. Just to. prepare for putting the middle row seat back in case of emergency usage.

ABSOLUTLY!! I bought my 2021 today. I will show my Godson this video and give him a hundred dollars to do it for me. (Because I am an old lady!!) Can't wait for my NO BUILD!!

You can have a custom fit substrate made for the protruding rails which is even better surface! Cost $500-$900.

Not that I know of. There should be a way to remove those out, but I am just cautious and not be too intrusive. Besides, I want to restore the original settings as quick as I want. That's why I left those rails in. If you refer the Toyota manual, you should be able to find some useful info. Cheers!

Is it impossible to remove the 2nd and 3rd row seats in a 2023?

2nd row is harder to remove because of the airbag wires and electronic connections. 3rd row should be easy, but currently i'm having kids to sit on the back row so i will keep it for a while. When kids are going to college, I will certainly remove the 3rd row and make it more comfortable.

How do you defeat air bag error message? What about third plug?

White connector is for the occupancy/seatbelt buckle sensor. 2) Round yellow connector is for the airbag. 3) Square yellow connector is for the seatbelt pretensioner.

There will be no error message if you plug in the dongle BEFORE reattaching the battery and turning on the car.
