Removing the background instead of the artwork itself is called relief carving I have done it for years on pretty much every type of material except tail lights so now you've got me interested. 🤔🤔😎 Try stippling the background instead of making it flat it will give you a whole completely different effect.

You can buy a can of 2K clear from automotive part store and spray your tail lights yourself and save yourself a lot of money.

That odyssey 🔥

This is fantastic, because every question I had in last week's video was not only answered, but shown off even more badass than expected! I absolutely LOVE how the Odyssey's light (s? lol) turned out. The chains and the stars also really came out way more prominent than I expected, really giving it some intricate flair. Having the tinted borders really bring your eyes to focus on the details inside, which is like an easter egg hunt for the eyes. I was really wondering how the tint would work in my comment on the last video, and we got two totally different examples. I initially was just wondering if it would be a smarter choice to get it done with tint, only bringing out the red outline. However, seeing how cool etching the negative space out really blew my mind with a whole new perspective. I hadn't even considered it. Absolutely brilliant. The 'outline only' on the bottom part was another amazing choice, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it looks gorgeous. It really gives the car a VIP-style look on the clear section, giving it a really expensive look. But secondly, it's a great way to showcase your business, with contrasting styles all in one little package. I'm sold. Take all my money. I'll be hitting up your shop soon. Great work as always, and cheers, lady!

i think its just an automotive clear coat 2k clear coat sent over to a shop then maybe extra hydrophobic protection added on

Kinda late but should have done a Medusa in space, keeping with the odyssey theme.
