TY. I studied this at university, but didn't really understand any of it This proves to me that youtube teachers are oftentimes much better than real teachers.

In this case, YES, but not all the time. Over generalization from 1 sample is a fallacy in basic logic.
Thank you so much, I'm studying to be an English teacher but with the pandemic situation we only have "online classes" but teachers only send pdfs and activities, with no explanation at all. Thank you!

Thank you so much. I am just discovering these things while studying Greek pronunciation and phonology history, for ancient Greek. You make it so amazingly easy and accurate. The best thing is that you keep videos very short, so they are easy to follow along.
COMPLETE GENIUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your "sliding" exercise is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this lesson! As an ESL student, I really apreciate it. I was so lost on this topic, now I can finally understand IPA chart.
This is magnificent!!!! I've been studied English for several years and this video is the best for the explanation of vowels' sounds. Definitely love it!
Now i got vowels sounds. Best of all.....

You are helping me study for my phonetics and philosophy this week thank you! This is really helpful! :)

This is a great lesson. Geniously illustrating. A lesson on comparing British and American/Canadian vowel sound could help greatly. For us Mexican English as a second language learners.
I watched this lesson from other KZread teacher, you taught it so that I understood! Really great job! Thanks alot

Beautifully explained. Thank you so much.
Manner of articulation by the trainer is absolutely stupendous and trains with passion and patience. The subject on Phonetics is little bit complicated for the non-native speakers like me, as it involves many intricacies that has to be elaborated with adequate illustrations by the the trainer who is a native speaker. Truly, the trainer is doing great justice to the job. The beneficiaries of this session are certainly lucky enough to have such a great teacher, well endowed with professional wisdom. Every single information provided by the teacher is so precious that will go a long way in attaining the linguistic mastery. Let me share that as most of our physiological systems play a key role in deciding the utterances, care has to be taken to keep them in functional state. The class is definitely lively and effective. So nice of you, Sir. Great. (Ravi)
Im Korean student started majoring in English lang and i got lot of help from this thanks
Thank you so much, Your training style is absolutely great ❤️

This is the best lesson I learnt ever, from youtube or bbc or anywhere else. The picture is super brilliant!
The most helpful video teaching vowels so far! I like the clear slide and the way contents were organized, especially the useful picture depicting the mouth and sorting different vowels out. Hope to see more videos of pronunciation. Keep up good work!

Thank you so much. Great video!
I like how ur explaining really thank you soo much
Hi teacher! I loved this lesson. Some IPA symbols are different from those you used and some phonemes are missing (such as 3:) but I appreciated the way you produced the sounds you chose to consider and pronounce. The slight differences existing between sounds are so clear! Please make other videos on this interesting subject. Thanks
