English Grammar: Linking Verbs (Copula)
"Be", "seem", "look", "sound", and more are examples of linking verbs in English. These are also called copula verbs. They are special because they do not involve an action, even though some may be used in a similar way to action verbs. In this grammar lesson, we’ll learn how to use these linking verbs in English, in what situations to use them, and how to recognize them when we see them. It may appear difficult, but it’s much simpler than it seems. www.engvid.com/english-gramma...

Mr. Adam can we call a multi-episodic movie called The Game of Thrones as a word - serial. I came across 2 words which seem to me the same, such words as: serial and the series. Could you please explain this word (serial) related to film?

Back in 2012 when I just started emerging myself into English environment and struggled with speaking and understanding my English teacher in extra classes which cost dramatically expensive. I had been learning English on KZread a lot! I had watched so many teachers but still couldn't feel confident about the gist in each video. Actually Mr. Adam from Engvid was the first teacher to whom I understood and learnt how to speak. I sincerely appreciate you Mr. Adam for your contribution in my future. You're a great teacher!

I like your accent, you speak clearly and I can understand you. Thanks a lot for teaching us, it's so useful. You are amazing, Adam..... I always watch your videos.
I am an English language teacher. Your video really helped me a lot to specify the Verbs that show some possibility in change of the state or situation of the Subject. These verbs include getting, become etc.. Now it's easy for me to explain the verbs like these more clearly to my students without messing up their minds with confusion to these. Thanks a lot! ♥️
Thanks for the superb lesson. I understood the main point of this lesson. I'd like to use copular verbs more often from now on. I feel like I can use copular verb expressions naturally if I practise using them with native speakers online.
Brilliant!!! That's exactly what i was looking for. Thanks alot Adam:))
Thank you Adam, I’m in 4th grade right now, and I got confused on my English homework about linking verbs. I went to KZread and I found your video, and it helped me so much! Thank you so much!
