Fun fact - Djurgården was the first opponent my team (Levski Sofia) has ever faced in Europe. We played them in the preliminary round of the European Cup in 1965/66, they beat us 2-1 in Stockholm, but then we won 6-0 in Sofia. 50 years later, in 2015, we invited them for a friendly to commemorate that first European game we had, and there were some of their fans who came to celebrate with us. i have loved Hammarby for about25 years now despite being from South Africa. Swedish clubs has always great atmospheres from what I have seen.

Honestly the welcome I had was so incredibly warm, the atmosphere is just wonderful but the charm of the people of Djurgarden are what made it that bit more special. I can’t wait to come back, and hopefully I’ll catch you! I’m hoping to learn a few Swedish lines for my next visit. ❤️❤️

Pretty telling that the March was in Östermalm and didn’t go to the Arena. For all the talk about “belonging” in Johanneshov, you clearly don’t, given the previous failed marches. Just own up to it. The tifo about Stadion is the real you. It would be more fun if you guys could get your own arena in the place where you belong again.

Compared to the other pundits/commentators they've got nothing on you. Your far better than most of them, young lady. Keep up the great work.

I’d love to, I wanted to ask a few questions at the press conference but they chose to do it in Swedish and English only for Marti, we got unfortunate as usually they do it English when a non Swedish manager is involved. Completely understandable it’s in Swedish by the way, I need to learn a few words before I come back!

Great video as always! On the last question you had on where you should be during the last game of the season, its impossible to know now. Looking at the table and form we're looking at 5-6 possible winners this year.

Ostersund also have a very different climate than Stockholm though. It's almost in the polar circle. Further from Stockholm than Glasgow is from London and this far north that distance really means something. People can be out wearing like t-shirts and shorts in Stockholm while people there travel by snow scooter.

Fantastic atmosphere, I wish I was there.

It’s a shame I didn’t get back on track with that, when I come back I’d definitely like to chat more about it. But I love how you see those values shared by Italian supporters, who I hold dearly as a Napolitano on my Dad’s side, but then you also have the chanting in the terraces that is hugely similar too that of the Kop End’s and standing areas at British grounds.

@@alvino0641 yes I do, I’m 100% Italian. I’ve studied in Sweden this past semester and I started following Djurgården by chance after a hockey game I went to, which happened to be the one in which they celebrated the hundred years of the hockey section. I liked the atmosphere and after that game I went to the stadium a couple of times more for the hockey games and around 5/6 times for the football games, both in Tele2 and Friends Arena for the derby

Hope you come back to see more of Hammarby. Even if our title successes haven't been that many, Hammarby is known for their crowd support, so perhaps a home game for them would be cool :)

Should go October 16 when Djurgården - AIK have derby, will be an insane one! :)

Feel in love with this sport in 2014, and Hammarby has been my favourite team ever since, Crazy how an American can end up loving a sport because of a team in ( at the time) Sweden's second Div

Football is actually the #1 sport in Sweden, with around 12% of the population involved in organised leagues or competetive matches! Hockey sits at 4th place, with around 5% of the population playing. :)

I'm a Dutch immigrant living in Stockholm and it is soooo much more fun and awesome than Dutch football!!

Was my first weekend off in 44 and my first game since returning back to dry land. Must have just missed you. Went to AIK on the Saturday too, stood in the end I was when Zlatan scored that overhead.Cracking away weekend in Sweden. Highly recommend. Was in opposite stand to yourself!
