@@EAMCFC it's a strange one, when questioned most haters will say it's because of England's obnoxious fans and while I agree they can be obnoxious, that's just football fans in general, not only England. When Argentina won the world cup in 78 on their own ground, in the final, the stadium was so hostile that the Dutch team didn't even participate in the final ceremony because they didn't feel welcome, but again, nobody talks about that. Italian football fans throw bananas at black players yet no hate for them. I've never seen so much hate for sterling and England after the semi final against Denmark because of sterling's dive but Maradona cheats and everyone loves the guy. Bizarre.

Yet even with a ref biased in England's favour and who let many English fouls go unpunished, 33 frees were awarded to Argentina whereas only 19 were awarded to England. So if Argentina were animals, what does that make England and what does it say about Ramsey's and about your hypocrisy? If you call Argentinians animals what do you call Nobby Stiles after the infamous tackle which seriously injured Jacques Simon of France? How many other players did he injure in that world cup? Also in 1978 Argentina won probably the second most corrupt World Cup of all time whilst the World Cup was hosted by Argentina. The most corrupt World Cup in my opinion was Italy 1934. Were as fate would have Italy also picked up their first World Cup trophy. Also i am going to say it Michael Owen's goal in 1998 was better than Maradona's goal in 1986. But if you are thinking i do not want Argentina to win you are wrong. To me Argentina have been the best team in the tournament and they deserve to win it. One more thing it would be iconic if Messi won his first World Cup at the last tournament.
