Buttler the best batsman in the world in shorter, bairstow, Roy, malan, Livingstone theres so many they had top 4 highest totals ever and top 3 highest chases ever. Today they got almost 500

I had a front row seat in the New Stand. Alex Hales and Grant Elliott did a lot of the fielding in our sector. It was a beautiful day (even with the spells of light rain) and a great game. Hard to imagine that 350 would seem almost commonplace just a few years later.

If you think that it's only just a lazy 350 , what the hell would you consider a record run chase by them? If ANY team can chase down a total that high , or even 300 or more , they are bloody good

@@arjunmishra3537 a lot of teams have been getting better at chasing massive scores. I think Australia's highest successful run chase was 358 vs India a couple of yrs back , in India. It's so unpredictable these days , and Australia are so inconsistent now days , 1 game , for example, they could win by 10 wickets with one match , yet the next match they would struggle to chase 240 lol. That golden era of cricket for Australia was a once in a lifetime era , like the West Indies were back in the 80's. To me India and England are the teams to beat now.. even NZ are strong , but nz always seem to get kissed on the dick due to the majority of their dominance is in thier own backyard. Apart from the draw in the 2019 WC that nz should have been crowned because they made that total and were 7 down .. eng were bowled out for the same total , so I believe that the boundary count idea was absolute rubbish... they both made the same score , why should a boundary count matter either way?! But to pick a winner out of eng and India, it's neck and neck really.
