Jalen That’s not true, England will win at home while also being the best ODI side in the world. Winning a World Cup and the ashes in the same summer, oh it’s going to be great

The Ashes are always an excellent advert for cricket in some way and I think anyone who writes off Australia does so at their peril. I am English and I definitely do NOT think it's going to be 5-0 England at all. I think we'll win the series but it won't be a whitewash or even easy. Ian Botham is one of my heroes but when he said we'll whitewash them this summer I thought he must be smoking something funny again. Aussies don't do roll over and die and they certainly won't here.

I reckon it will be a good fight, I can see Michael Clarke having a really great series, they have a crop of skilled and aggressive fast bowlers, England just got spanked like little girls by SA, so i think AUS has a chance.

@fearFSM totally agree with you likes of starc and james pattinson has been an asset to aussie bowling line up and ane of my favourite david warner ,wow what a [player he is once i asked my brother after watching michael clark playing brilliantly in sydney test against india = wow, he seems to be getting back in form my brother reaction made me think as if i've cracked a joke he responded by saying" i think he's the only player i know who's never been outta form

this is the best england side i've ever seen. for aussies they need to make some changes. especially in their bowling department and most important a good spinner. ricky ponting need to brsuh up his skills or else he'll outta the team.

The last guy in was too scared to come out. 9 down = all out for the Aussies!

I think we were 2-1 up and we already held the ashes from the win in England so the best Australia could do was get it back too 2-2 . So we held onto it as we were the current holders .

Australia could only play for the draw. England would have retained the Ashes anyway if that happened as they were the current holders. But Australia lost this series 1-3.

Because they won the ashes in 2009 they were 2-1 up no way for Australia to come back besides a draw again which would mean England retain ashes

Hahaha and this is English team who desperately wants to beat one of their Commonwealths; who has been around for just over 200 years, half the population and has played the game for half as long as England and Australia has somehow managed to win more ashes series than them and are thirty tests up against them, England need to reassess just where their position is in cricket then stop bragging that they have won a couple of series recently, that is nothing compared to Australia's run
