Excellent that the CBS Arena had the highest attendance ever for any live event held at 32,128. Serena tested the squad, they dug deep and passed. It wasn’t meant to be the best performance ever but it was an absolutely brilliant result. The Lionesses undefeated streak under Serena continues. P28- W24 - D4 - GS 130- GC 8. Even if you remove the 8 games against really low competition ( outside the top 20 ) in the WCQ games England are still 24 - 4 - 0 53 - 8 . Still by far and away the best record of any top 10 country in the world. And we are not finished yet :)

@@jakedawkins2318 She was in the correct place , the Italian crossed / chipped / lobbed it almost perfectly. She got a hand to it and almost kept it out. If every keeper saved every shot in every game , then every game would be 0-0. People make mistakes , or in competition, someone does it perfectly. It doesnt mean the keeper was ' useless' , just that one shot was better. If she was useless, she would have let every shot and backpass in. Dont exagerate.

I'm not totally sure it was. Since the ball is a sphere you can have a situation where you can see green grass beneath the ball but it is still over the line. It happened in a mens game recently, I just can't quite remember the game.

Ref hadn’t blown the whistle. That’s the rules game plays on unless the ref stops the game. Or something looks like a severe injury. Because who knows she could of been faking it to get an advantage.

If Beth meads not fit then Daly/ russo …..wow ….even our B team can beat the A teams of most! Don’t know when we’ll meet the us , but we can beat them , so I see England in the wc final!

Agreed. If the Usa play well as a team , it will be very hard for anyone to beat them. The three main threats of England Spain and Germany , all beat them last Oct, so its possible. Should be a very interesting WWC :)

The plethora of constant mistakes is why at this moment in time women's football is so far behind the men's game and is treated as such, maybe one day it'll be somewhere near but as of right now it's approximately the same standard as regional league football, men's players at that level don't get paid at all.

Whilst I applaud Rachel Daly's 2 goals against Italy, lets not forget that it was her error that cost us the first goal against Spain in the Qtr finals of the Euros, that Gonzalez scored. Del Castillo went by Daly as if she wasnt there. It took the combination of Russo and Toone to save us and force extra time, 6 minutes from the end of the 90

Yet Lucy Bronze got caught out of position loads of times but wasnt punished and she is a defender, Daly has always been an attacker. It was the only time she got caught by clever footwork. You are nitpicking one match where Spain run rings around most DEFENDERS. Yes the caps were meant

Mary Earps is a class keeper. This is the second goalkeeper and she’s awful. Was at fault for the goal in this game and the goal against Norway when we drew 1-1.

@@pepsimann2038 Nothing is slower and boring than men's games today. They simply choose about 15 minutes of intensity in a total of 90, and we are forced to hold on the rest. Women are the opposite, dynamics all the time, is passionate. Suffocated underwater should be the free hatred for women. These guys only love men.
