Dad, Dad, Daaaad, can I have my bike back! Hadn't watched this thinking it was another Pit Bike story but it was worth it just for the charger feedback, the connector looks very similar to the C-Tek's I have used for years but they are now silly money, might just give it a try at that money. I wish a lot more subs were like you. Hey you should know by now if i have nothing any different or better than anyone else, i dont upload it. To many people banging up videos once a week to gain the views, cant be bothered with all that. As for the charger i have six now on permanent and not one has failed, 2 are in a damp old cow shed and still perfect. 👍ps purchased a fork lift truck today, maybe soon making a video, if i can get it running ☹️

Personally i don't particularly like pit bikes myself, i prefer Japanese bikes. At the moment i am riding a Yamaha RT100. Great video by the way.

And you know what i agree with you and was going to avoid them as my daughters first bike especially as she has a helmet and does not own a track suit. But you cant knock the value for money as a first bike that will end up getting trashed.

​@@xDrDeath78x How you doing fella, Sorry for the late reply I took the missus and kids to a land of no internet and phone signal, aka wales. Just the campervan, a beach and no tourists. I have been working many hours during this lock down including weekends at my paid job so projects and youtube has took a back step. But most importantly and excitingly we are moving house, big workshop here we come. Hows you guys over the pond?

tinkerbod good to hear mate, I hope you got the batteries recharged in Wales. Glad to hear you’ve been working, I’ve been at it non stop during the lockdown which has been good. I would’ve gone mad staying at home 24/7. I’m in Essex mate, as much as I’d love a spread in the states its probably better not to be anywhere near the place for the foreseeable. Glad all is good 👍🏼

Hi mate, where did you get all these parts? I’m looking to get an electric start for my bike also but I’m not sure where to buy, it’s a Stomp 140 so it’s basically the same. Nice video man keep it up.

Indeed it did have, on some engines you can buy it and retro fit as I have done before.

take it you got 12v to the switch? So you can most certainly start with the switch and push button on the handle bars, they normally corrode on the poorer quality ones or simply fill with dirt. Next the starter relay, check you have 12v switched (thinner wires) when the button is pressed. Then at the starter when button is pressed. If all good, measure continuity across starter windings. My bet the the handlebar switch.

Well mate would this engine fit on a 110cc stomp and give it a boost

Hello I have a cw140 and I’m having a bit of trouble with it if the bike is cold it idles perfectly but if it been drove and is hot it won’t idle without me Reving it and cut out then I’ve twisted the idle screw and no joy any thought what’s wrong ?

If it has 'always' been like that from 'new,' check the seal is present at the carb screw on cap, the throttle cable passes through it, there should be a rubber round flat seal or o-ring. Check for any air leaks from carb through to cylinder / manifold, air filter cleanliness. If all OK then remove the main jet needle, have a look what setting the height setting circlip is on (possibly be in the middle groove if never messed with) and move it closer to the pointed end (towards the end further most from the circlip. This will richen your mixture, remember you will need to start again with your pilot mixture screw again. Have a look at my PW80 video, its got a section on the internals of a carb and cleaning especially blocking of jets.

Just a thought pull off your fuel pipe off the carb and open the fuel tap is the flow good. I found i had to renew the fuel tap on ours due to reduced flow

Check your fuel screw mix too put all the way in then two screws out then try

You need to count the wires out of the alternator/selector casing, make sure you have as many as i did and meter them through.
