Crazy how quick soil changes once it’s moved, wonder how much water has gone through that open pipe since you dug it out ?

Thinking about the trouble you are having with tree roots blocking the drain in that field why not dig an open ditch there . then all you have to when the tree roots get into the ditch is clean it out. Get the council to put a bigger outlet pipewhere the water runs off the field
