🚗 Kia Sportage 2.0 diesel (2016 - 74,015 miles)
ℹ️ The owner is a previous customer of ours (different vehicle) who was already planning to get his new acquisition checked out and cleaned up whilst still under warranty, but now more urgently booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean after the Engine Management Light (EML) came on recently along with a loss of power.
🔎📊 Diagnostics showed just 3 codes present, two in the engine section. An underboost code (which can be down to a number of issues including sticking turbo, pressure sensor, actuator, etc.). The second code was to do with the boost pressure sensor (which looks like the likely culprit).
👨‍🔧 After discussing with the owner he still wanted us to clean it up and can get it back to the garage under warranty with our diagnostics report to work with so they can resolve the issue.
