This is for them keyboard wank... sorry keyboard Warriors before you comment make sure you've done your research here is proof that the engine carbon cleaning machine works
Carbo-Clean CCX-012
The CCX-012 is brought to you by Carbo-Clean and is a completely self-contained Carbon Cleaning unit; engineered and built in the UK and designed for mobile or static garaged-based engine Carbon Cleaning.
What is Carbon-Cleaning?
When burning fuel in a petrol, diesel or LPG engine, small amounts of carbon residue are produced and some of these carbon particles cling to the internal components and airways within the engine, over time these carbon particles build-up and form a crusty residue over the working parts within your engine. Valves, pistons, turbo-vanes and EGR valves are all at risk of being effected by excessive carbon deposits.
This carbon build-up reduces the efficiency and performance of an engine, shortens the lifecycle of engine parts and decreases fuel economy and increases vehicle emissions.
With modern style of driving, congested roads, and stop-start lifestyles the issue of carbon build-up within an engine, is more prevalent than ever.
Our Carbon Cleaning machines are fast, efficient, and completely safe. The machine automatically manages the hydrogen pulse into the engine. The effects of injecting hydrogen makes it possible to raise the combustion temperature to trigger a pyrolysis, a chemical reaction that vaporises, and eliminates carbon deposits. We simply insert a tube from our engine-decarbonising machine into the air intake duct of an engine and leave the process to run. The average vehicle takes 30-45 minutes to be cleaned. Prices vary from £75-£100 for a standard Carbon clean, commercial, plant and boats are normally charged at a higher rate
What are the benefits of a Carbo-Clean?
· Works on all engines types, diesel , petrol, or LPG
· Removes up to 75% of the sooty, scaly carbon residue
· Restores fuel consumption, engine power and performance
· extends the lifecycle of expensive engine parts by helping them work more efficiently
· Soot and scale are removed from parts like the turbo vanes, EGR valve, DPF’s, catalytic convertors, injectors, valves, and airways etc.
· Dynamic parameters are increased when accelerating
· Engine noise is reduced
· Emissions are drastically reduced
· Improved fuel economy
· Engine’s lifecycle is extended
· Carbon-Cleaning is not about giving an engine more power, it’s about given the engine back the power it has lost over time due to carbon build-up and assisting it to run and breath more easily
· Suitable for cars, vans, HGV and boats

    Can you tell me if this might help my diesel 1.6 Volvo as it’s got a rattle under acceleration but not all the time like on cold it seems ok and idle it will rev up and sound like it should with no rattle. I have heard the injectors could be dripping or whatever but I don’t know. It’s not the injector seals for sure.

    Might have to get this done myself. My intake manifold was leaking oil at the back (1.6hdi), I thought it was a seal gone or something. I took off the intake and the whole thing was covered in gunk, all the way down into the head too. It's like the carbon and oil got in under the seals and lifted the intake. It's much better now but still needs a good clean further down I'd say.

    Great video mate, I would say with advancements in fuel technology and oils too “carbon” build up is nothing like it used to be in the dark days! 10k and a full cylinder head removal and having to de-coke! But as Direct injection has become more prominent in production engines it is allowing build up of carbon. I drive a 2013 M3 and paid for one of these the difference in performance was remarkable 😉👍🏻

    I have cured a sticking Turbo on my 20d X type using a DPF cleaner fluid in the tank worked a treat however on the issue of spraying water down an inlet yes it can be done and I have done it using a spray gun ,the reasoning behind this is my experience with head gaskets where steam from a leaking head gasket decarbonises the effected cylinder top of piston and exhaust valve and port .With and EGR system it is feasible some steam may come back through into the inlet side .The upshot being I am interested in these machines if they can produce a superior effect to just steam from which I can assure you is very effective as anyone who as ever dismantled an engine with a failed headgasket can testify

    Could this really shift 250,000 miles' worth of oily PCV vapours bonding EGR soot to the intake port walls (Opel Y20DTH, early type with vacuum EGR)? I've removed and cleaned the intake and swirl flap unit and decarbonised them at 190,000 miles (they were BAD) but didn't have time to look at cleaning the ports before I had to reassemble everything and go somewhere! Would like to clean them, but don't see how that machine could. In the combustion chamber, yes. But in the intake? Not sure. The plastic BMW intake was still quite clogged in the video.

    At the very end of the video he shows the 'before' picture. Kinda backward since he started with the after pic and just talked about the before 'with all the carbon and gunk' then finally, FINALLY you got to see what it looked like. I don't really like the green machine built out of what reminds me of an old computer case, kind of a decent hommage, though so, Respect. I much prefer my smaller scale 2 Pickle Jar setup with a connection to my pickup truck's electrical and air intake via copper wire and 1/8in tubing ported to the air intake / stator vacuum ported somewhere past the MAF sensor and throttle body, nearer to the brake cylinder where suction is most concentrated. I am very happy with HHO.

  • @robrogers8760
    @robrogers87603 жыл бұрын

    The system does work and when you understand how it works you will come to realise it can't clean the whole system, for that you really would need to strip the engine down thoroughly clean and rebuild, however it cleans carbon deposits from the combustion chambers and surrounding areas which will have the effect of giving a cleaner and more efficient combustion. It will not be able to clean anywhere else prior to combustion as it is the combustion and the extremely high temperatures reached that burns away the carbon deposits. Oxygen and hydrogen which is really what this mix is can reach temperatures of around about 2000°C which is far higher than the normal combustion temperatures reached when burning a diesel air mix. Because we are generating much higher than normal temperatures, the areas surrounding the combustion chambers and their components will also reach high temperatures as the heat dissipates and therefore could possibly burn away some of their carbon deposits. The exhaust will naturally be much higher and therefore as this is been recirculated through the EGR valve you would expect to see carbon deposits reduced again in this area. These machines are rather expensive when in reality all they are is either a simple dry cell or wet cell. These you can easily make yourself, however, you would need to use as a bare minimum food grade stainless steel. I'm actually thinking of making one myself to generate hydrogen for a domestic hydrogen boiler for the house. I do wonder if you could achieve similar results going down the road of forced DPF regeneration as that relies upon generating increased temperatures to burn away carbon deposits in the DPF. I am not a mechanic so would have to test it. There is no doubt logically it makes sense and will work. It would probably also makes sense to have this done at the same time as a major service, and also change the spark plugs and HT leads for the best you can afford. I imagine this would give you a far more efficient burn with an increase in both torque and bhp. Anyway, that's my two penneth worth. I'm sure there are guys out there would disagree, that democracy for you.

    I put about four liters of water through the intake of my jtd engine... Kept revs at about 2.5.. Once it started to bog a bit I would rev it more which would release a cloud of black smoke... All I can say is it would appear this was carbon judging by the smell.. I did this using a pound land pump sprayer.. I would exercise caution with attempting this obviously you don't want to stall it... It was done with a fully warmed engine.. Car is remapped etc anyway but it certainly hasn't done any harm il be doing it again. I also run it on a veg oil mix so hopefully help if any ring gumming has started..

    Nice one Leon. The only thing I would like to add to this video is that there is definitely science on how planes fly. If you as a plane commander don’t follow that science, the planes would fall down to earth. I hope this comment doesn’t quality me a a keyboard wanker, but if it does, so be it. I’m a wanker anyway and i thoroughly enjoy it. Thank you for posting. Regards Joe.

    I agree with you Mr Bodgit. I've used mine to great effect. I got mine which is a sun machine from snap on in about 2005. It's been laid up for a while but I'd swear by it and I'm 30 years in the trade and can remember way back when we did decokes every 50k

  • @dodgydruid
    @dodgydruid4 жыл бұрын

    I remember when garages used to offer decoke's which back then involved with filling up to the plug hole each cylinder with redex, topped up after many hours and usually an industrious probe used to score the crown to enable the redex to penetrate better. Redex became quite the fad in the 70's as did Molyslip and the later on original Slick 50 (not the useless stuff made today but the real PTFE coating your engines insides stuff) and you would often see redex'd cars motoring about leaving passing white clouds behind 'em and ponging worse than a tart's armpit lol Redex though never got into the valve's that well, often the stems would be still cruddo city and often the flaked off carbon ended up blocking oilways and filter.

    I bought a 2008 Vw Passat sport dsg from London. Upon traveling home to IRELAND, I noticed that the 160BHP engine was really preforming like a 110BHP and getting about 32 mpg (28mpg doing 80mph on motorway to Dublin). Upon checking the DPF was almost fully clogged. Got that cleaned. The mpg improved a little. The diagnostic is telling my mechanic there are no problems. I’m now thinking it must be Carbon given that the mpg and power is only a little better that the car spent its life most likely in traffic. What are your thoughts? Is this treatment available in ireland (Cork area if possible)?

    Most of the ones saying it doesn’t work are mechanics that would prefer to charge a customer a lot for labour that this machine can stop within an hour or so , I know as I was one of them sceptical ones at first , 50-90 quid for the hour roughly compared to how many hours stripping an engine to find the issue, my customers have been happy with the results and the savings in costs and time so to me that’s worth more than stinging them for a few hours labour and saves me the hassle of stripping down the engine if I don’t have to, as you say it won’t always work but it’s worth a try before having them forking out hundreds . Done approx 25-30 cars with mines all of which have had good results one way or another from egr, dpf injectors, seals and mpg increasing , If you don’t trust it don’t use it but don’t diss what you don’t know as I found out , probably make more from this than I do repairs now and costs a hell of a lot less for the customer, also depends on machine and chemical mix used in the process too

    You guys need to understand the difference between hydrogen and water (H2O). Hydrogen is a gas not a liquid . The Hydrogen cleaning system works with a unit that produces hydrogen by splitting the H2O molecule with electricity thus producing hydrogen which is highly combustible and will bind with carbon and break it down (hydro-carbons). Putting water in your intake is definitely NOT recommended.
