If you had told me just a couple of episodes that at the end Kat and John Henry would be this season's success story and Olivia would end up being the person I liked the most out of this cast, I wouldn't believe it at all.

I'm not shocked that eliza, and Aaron are hitting bumps post paradise. She's built her entire personality around a baby voice, and acting like she's unsure of everything all the time. And Aaron thinks the most important part of a lifelong relationship is knowing what your person likes to eat for breakfast cause he's mentioned it no less than 5 times over the course of the season mess.

Honestly, kat having a troubled childhood ,and spending time in a group home makes a lot of sense. Girl has baggage and could benefit from some therapy, and selfcare she struggles hard when things doing go according to plan. I hope she finds healing.

Kylee was SENDING me how she was so head strong on an engagement that she’s blinded by the fact that THAT is a huge red flag and if she ain’t careful she’s gonna marry just to get married and then mess up. Engagement is something, personally, that I feel is something that should be taken really seriously. And not rushed or forced. I feel like the fact that he didn't want to do it without feeling they were ready for that showed he took their relationship seriously.

Kylee said that Aven was there(wanted to get engaged) to Rachel. She is incorrect. Aven didn't want to get engaged to Rachel. He wasn't there yet and he still is not there with Kylee. He basically had the same conversation with Rachel that he had with Kylee. Rachel stuck to her guns of wanting to be engaged and that is why they broke up.

The problem with this year was there is too many immature people. An engagement is something leading into a lifetime. Avis lake watching a bunch of high school students fighting over who who's with who who's getting engaged,. It was a waste and totally ridiculous.

Blake has 3 sisters and a mom and grew up the boy, so he’s excellent at girl talk and emotional validation, while also having that objective viewpoint that guys are really good at. He was her person she would go to for advice. And she was super sad when he left. But ya, funny how she said it and then he was brought back for the wedding. Could have been coincidental or intentional from production. 😄

I see a trend with Kylee just doing what the producers want. She asked Blake to stay because they told her to. And now she's all fired up about the engagement, like they always want.

I laughed when Kat asked John H. if he knew what a "matcha latte" was & he thought it was how someone said "mocha latte" with a Boston accent! 😂

Considering that Aven just admitted to cheating, I now wonder if Kylee was pushing so hard for an engagement because she was seeing some red flags about Aven's level of commitment.

What girl wants an engagement they have to beg for ?

Kylee has so much more maturing to do if she thinks locking down an engagement after only a few weeks is necessary to prove that she and Aven will work outside of Paradise and that they are meant to be. She still has to learn how to listen as well as comprehend when communicating with her partner instead of looking at things with tunnel vision. Her immaturity really shone this episode.

I mean i wouldnt say that was a good paradise season, the Christina drama with Dean was terribly draining and Caelynn went through so much the poor thing. But yeah that makes it all so much better knowing they took the time to make it work and both compromised in their ways and learned and finally decided to go through with it. One of the couples ive ever been most happy for ❤

Omg and now Kylee has announced Aven cheated on her and they’re done. Life moves pretty fast here in bachelor nation

I saw a theory that Kylie and Aven have been talking for a long time outside of paradise like at least a year. So to her he should be proposing by now. It's the only thing that makes sense to me otherwise she's really young and showing that she's not ready for marriage let alone an engagement.

Imagine how amazing this season wouldve been if one of the main couples had been Brayden ,and Christina...such a missed opportunity for peak entertainment!

To be honest... Kat and Jon Henry are ADORABLE together. I didn't expect it (I don't even think they did) but it seems to work and I love that for them. Everyone deserves love and I'm glad they seem to have genuinely found that in each other

Kylee is so immature. Just because you fantasized having a ring by the end of it, doesn’t automatically mean Aven should just forget his reality that he’s not ready for it? It’s very reasonable to want to explore the real world together before getting engaged. Glad Aven didn’t fall for that.

I disagree that she is immature. I would say Olivia is a bit blind to the actions of men. I just think she needs more experience in relationships. She at least needs to experience a long-term relationship. I think you can tell as a viewer that she isn't privy to what men are actually showing her through their actions. Do I believe she is capable of being in a long term relationship, yes, but she still has an unrealistic view on what a relationship really is in some sense. I really was disappointed that she didn't stick it out with Peter because he seemed very interested in her and genuine.

I gotta say, I haven't been thrilled about kat's attitude this season, but after this ep I am happy to see her paired up with John Henry. He seems so genuine and sees the best in kat, which in turn seems to bring out the best in her too.

The Preview of this season had me thinking this would be a toned-down version of last season with the drama and all. But it was the complete opposite of what I wanted. But see the ending, was a letdown. All our favorite couples broke up and the ones who stayed together like Aaron and Eliza, are in a rough patch and John Henry and Kat still engaged, which was disappointing. Especially with how Kat was trying everyone on the beach, I wanted to have a live renuion to be able to address how she was portrayed.

This is the first of these recaps I've watched in a long time and man this show is something else. How one can hear their relationship partner of 3 weeks demand an engagement the next day and think "yeah, this is someone that truly cares about me and will be a pleasure to experience life with" is beyond me.

As a therapist myself, I've been saying this for years. It doesn't even have to be in front of the scenes, but behind or in an ITM, but not a way to exploit trauma but encourage them to be more eloquent.

BF and I, just sharing a brain on this one. I was so over the falsehood of the "wedding", I just fell right asleep during the reception. Producers could at least respect us enough to not make things so fake.. A 25 year-old bellyaching about not being proposed to after 2 months was really just annoying the crap out of me.

Such an entertaining review, as always! I don’t have much hope for the remaining couples…let’s see. Why was Becca snubbed? Very confusing. You had me laughing out loud so many times and your season review was spot on. Please, Bachelor producers, bring us more meaningful relationships to cheer for!

I thought I had blinked at the wrong time and missed the Becca and Thomas nod at the end. I was so sure I missed it that I was going to replay that last couple of minutes tonight. Also Kylee was so ridiculous trying to extort an engagement from Aven! Or do they get a significant bonus if they get a ring? Blake was the best part of the season for me, but I definitely wasn't crazy about Jess for him. And it was so rude of them to say he would be waiting to be Golden Bachelor. And I know Golden Bachelor was on a different recap, but I have to say it's awful how production did their typical edit to make us all believe that he was going to pick Leslie all along and nope, he picks Theresa with hardly any footage that endeared her to the audience.

Terrible season. The look back at former couples who met on the beach but are now married with kids reminded me how the earlier couples were just so much better and more compelling! Dean coming back for Caelynn was probably the best scene and couple exit on BIP ever! So excited to see them married, along with all the other happy couples. Have a bad feeling we won't get marriages from this or last year's season BIP.

I am so mad at producers. We could have seen Brayden and Christina on beach together and they did not make it happen?!?

I applied to be on the show before the lockdowns. I told them I realized that I was out of their age range. However, they need to have a show for us older people because we need love too! Around 5-6 months went by and low & and behold, the "Senior edition" was announced, I couldn't believe it! But then covid and production came to a halt. Now post covid, and here we are! Sure, it could have been a coincidence. However, why did they keep the same format for all those years? And then months after I give them the idea they go and do it? Sure, we'll just say that, but I know this was all me! I don't want any money or fame, just maybe a thank you, and let you know that I am so happy that even though I did not get picked that I can help others find love, or at least hope.

I was so surprised Christina wasn’t on this season. I would’ve loved to see her. I feel like they probably asked her and she said no. I hope she and Brayden are happy though.

In Kylee's defence, the whole purpose of this show is to get engaged at the end. I don't think it's weird that she is expecting exactly that. The way they went about it in the end is probably the healthy way but everyone being so surprised that she wants the exact thing that is the purpose of the show is a bit weird to me. Of course it's stupid to get engaged after less than a month, but that's the whole point of the show! If Aven didn't wanna do that at all, he should've stayed home (or at least told her that from the beginning).

The point of the show is to get engaged, but that only works if the contestants are grown, mature adults and not spoiled, clueless twenty-somethings that only want to go on the show for Instagram followers.

The next show needs to be golden seniors in paradise. The younger these people get, the more ridiculous this show-and the entire bachelor franchise has become. So much so, that it has taken the boomer generation to resurrect it. You’re welcome. We have to fix everything.

Why would they make her the villain if she’s one of the two end couples? Weird.

That’s really why I dislike this season so much. I feel like there was more emphasis on that one girl pooping vs actually witnessing relationships develop. It wasn’t until Blake left that I was like m, wait, since when did they become friends?? They left out so much…

@@vanessahobbes3072 Even when it came to the existing couples. We hardly got to see their developing relationship. Like when Tyler and Mercedes dated we hardly saw any romance between them after their date. We saw the date, then the roast and the drama that came with it and then their break up

Agreed! There were so many of the initial meeting conversations that never aired. It’s so hard to win an audience and sell a love story if you don’t show the build up of said love story.

But why is there no tell all?? That’s disappointing

I don't think she was all in after that. Imo that just made it slightly easier for her to say yes just to get the whole thing over with. I don't foresee them actually staying together for the long haul
