Great to see Shawn Dou in the Lead male role!!!...such an outstanding brilliant actor but always playing secondary roles or he is killed off. I hope to see him Lead in more historical dramas, he suits them so well.

Shaun Dou is such an exceptional n brilliant actor. He speaks excellent English as he was educated in Canada. That’s a plus for him. I’ve seen him in several dramas n his portrayal of emotions such as joy,pain,sadness,frustration, jubilation, etc are fantastic. He has a enchanting smile.I particularly liked his superb acting in “Tears in heaven.” Tiffany Tang is a great actress who caught my attention in her part in “ The Liar n the lady.” The main stars have a great chemistry. I look forward to watching this drama.

Watching on 1/23/2021 from USA 🇺🇸 ☺ during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Am here bcoz of this guy who was the 2nd lead in princess Agent... blessings.

I am watching this drama a second time. This has got to be the best of the dramas released in 2020 and first quarter of 2021 - and I had watched most of the good ones. Such a refreshing difference - Khitan costumes, culture, architecture, transport. The drama evoked a whole range of different emotions and has an outstanding cast.

I know him from his first film "Under the Hawthorn Tree". That one was great and won many prizes, and the film's director was the director of Beijing 2008 Olympics Games Opening&closing Ceremony. BTW, this drama is based on the true story, the overall storyline and most of the characters are real in history. I hope this drama would not let us down, best wishes for it!

I loved Charmaine Sheh in Yanxi palace. She played the progression of a pure person turning into a scheming mastermind and the moment she snaps is perfect. She acts so beautifully. I look forward to her performance in this drama.

This is based on real history, not totally fiction. That’s why for some people it’s boring but for history lover it’s fantastic.

Looks like this is a great series with a fantastic cast! They have some of the best actors/actresses from all over the world! And the plot is developing quite well already with good sets, scenes & lighting.

It is indeed a fantastic series... the weakest of the main leads is possibly Tang Yan, but even she didn't do too bad a job. And I think the ending is good or nicely wrapped up (unlike some drama series that leaves the audience hanging in the air with a 🙄😑).

Yay!!! First episode and not even 20 mins in and they already met. I love it! Unlike some dramas where the main leads don't meet until episode two or much later.

Edit: After watching the series, I highly recommend this historical drama. Among other things, even if it was romanticized, the historical content was not lost. It is a beautiful drama, worth your time to watch and enjoy

Snow cloud is a true beauty . There is something so rare mysterious and beautiful in the colour black and black animals seem to be more mystic and beautiful than other colours the jaguar for example is gorgeous
