My wife read the manga as teenager before watching the anime. She told me she cried when this happened, because this was so unexpected and she felt like she was betrayed as well.

This anime is way too weird and confusing. The story is all over the place.

The music is what gets to my feels the most...

The one show has arguably 3 of the all time greatest plots twists of all time. - Reiner and Berthold's betrayal - Humanities existence beyond the walls - Future Eren manipluating the events of the show since before the first season This show will stand as one of the GOATs for a VERY long time. Not even sure if I'll ever find another show that surpasses it for the rest of my lifetime.

This for me, is still the best reveal scene in anime of all time. The sudden plot twist, the background music, the tension, it's just too perfect.

who would have thought the reveal of "THE EVIL COLLOSAL TITAN AND THE ARMOURED TITAN" will be emotional as heck.

Seeing season 4. Magath is absolutely right. They really shouldn't have send children to retrieve the Founding Titan. This reveal is the solid proof of that.

that's not how that works, the memory transfer thing only happens between users of the attack titan, not any shifters

Every single time it happened it was because Eren had the founding titan power at the end and made all of his predecessors see what he needed them to see. I think that's backed up by the Owl telling Grisha about Mikasa and Armin, Eren made him do that. If that the case then it could have happened to any Eldian throughout history. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@notaspyplane-ce5yp nah Owl knew Mikasa and Armin, not because of Eren telling him that, but because Owl, through the powers of the Attack Titan, saw Eren’s memories and what would happen in the future Only now i know that Attack Titans can see past and future memories

I still have trust issues until this day.

The lightning showing their titan’s faces over their actual face is such a good detail

No lie the 1-2 seasons where the best not saying the third wasn’t but they were the best because we didn’t even know what was going on

But as soon as he does that it becomes an endless loop of peering through time and doing it all over again with the knowledge. It's very likely that he knew. Also fuck time peering, Isayama dropped the ball on his own goddamn foot with that forsaken twist.

@@markopusic8258 regardless of if eren knew starting from some point of the future, that knowledge doesnt reach to this scene. This is way before eren kisses historias hand and unlocks most of the future memories. Future (founding eren) didnt mess with younger eren before he actually figured out he had that ability in the past.

This Eren had no idea what was going on. I mean founding Eren could have altered his past self actions if he had to but Future Eren didnt have to alter his own memory because everything that happened at the time actually led up to the goal he was aiming for. Eren didnt just manipulated grisha, he also manipulated himself .
