he's purposely imitating the original singers voice i think. If you search the song, the singers voice has the exact same voice and I think he's just imitating for fun.

I keep coming back to this. Nobody ever doubted Jungkook's singing ability, but here's one piece of proof that Hoseok is right up there with him. No pitch correction, no guide track in the earpiece, just beautiful singing that is spot on, thanks to genuine musicianship and a wonderful voice. I'm a trained singer and wish I could make the transition from my chest voice to my head voice as smoothly as Hoseok does. His intonation is spot on, his tone is a delight and his control is fantastic. I think it's a huge shame that he hasn't really had the opportunity to use his voice to the full over the past seven years; we've all missed out. I hope that we'll hear a lot more straightforward singing from him in the future, when BTS (together or individually) are older and no longer so focussed on the teen/idol market. What a lovely, talented man. 💜💜💜

This is not true... BTS was a Heavy Hiphop group... with Namjoon Yoongi, Ikje (now e11ven) Hunchul (now Iron) Donghyeok (now Supreme Boi) and some others... ALL of them are rapper... and then hoseok joined.. so he learned Rap and Hiphop at that time... But Bang PD nim decided to make an idol group instead... all the rappers leaves the group beside our rapline and supreme boi (he is one of the producer in bighit now)... And bighit started to hold an audition to search for BTS's vocalist... they started promoting as a trio in underground and released Paldogangsan (that later added to O!RUL82?) (Also, the video of them promotion as a trio is on youtube too... I'll give you the link).... Taehyung even said that when he takes the audition, he saw the rapline rapping Paldogangsan and then thinking that they were a Hiphop group that was about to debut but then he joined the agency and found himself in that group (2017, New Yangnamja Show Episode1)
