Usvsahsvj as a Theravada buddhist we do believe gods exist but we do not consider these gods as you would consider “the God” christians or muslims believe.Whatever the speech and actions we do , the consequences are because of them, cause and effect basically.

Growing up in America it was extremely hard to learn about Buddhism with all the Christianity around me. I realized Buddha was my savior a long time ago but didn’t know his story. This video helped me a lot! 💕

*The Buddha is not your Savior. Please be careful how you say that. It sounds almost like idolatry. Rather, it is the One Creator G'd that is your Savior - which G'd is in you as well. ☝🏽 Christianity calls it the Holy Spirit but its own religion has distorted this reality, and people worship Jesus as their Savior.*

I think what xJack Red meant was just a saying. We use the word “saviour” often when someone do us a favour. We say, “You’re my saviour.” If xHacj Red felt Buddha was his saviour, that’s his choice to think that way. Buddha has been our saviour in many ways. HIS philosophy so far guided us towards Nirvana.

I am Buddhism. I never break five rules of Buddha. I don't kill anyone even ants or mosquitoes. I don't steal things from anyone. I don't cheat anyone relatives. I don't lie to hurt people? I don't drink or smoke that can make me dizzy or uncontrollable ( just like alcohol or drugs.) Honestly when I was kid I obey by my parents. I don't know why. But when I was teenage I obey to get heaven and not to go hell. But when I grew up I realized this is good for humanity. For better person. For better world. Thank Buddha. Now I don't want heaven or not afraid of hell. I just want a normal person who don't hurt anyone,who can trust by everyone. Thank Buddha. Sadu Sadu Sadu🙏🙏🙏

Like Will Smith once said, "Danger is very real, but fear is a choice". It's also equivalent towards what a great guru once said, "Pain is very real, but suffering is a choice". Being alive itself is a desire, otherwise hold your breath until you're no more. Desire doesn't lead to suffering, its unfulfilled desire which then becomes an "attachment", which can cripple you for life if you let it. Especially it all comes down to you Your choice

The Buddha was one of the very first history character standing for humanity and human right, for animal's freedom, for the value of life and he was the first man who stand against sexism and give prominence to the women by creating the female monk group. I don't care how powerful the gods in another religion was. I just care about a man who was born 2500 years ago but having breakthrough thinking as the world nowaday still fight for. And I believe that whatever he told was true.

Being a Buddhist or being a non Buddhist is not important. The thing which matters is that how much you have been able to provoke your inner Buddha and realise Buddha in yourself. I'm a Hindu and I love Buddha and Buddhist culture as much as my own religion. I'm proud that Buddha was born in a Hindu family. Hindus are forever debt to him for revival of vedic teachings!! He became 9th Avatar of Hindus!! One of the channel of Hindu thought is Buddhism. @@arnabroychoudhury8064 You are taught some wrong history.... plz confirm.... Buddha defferd from Hinduism (of one of the greatest religion) because there was a lot of corruption in Vedic literature.... therefore Buddha's teachings are preserved in Pali language and not SANSKRIT

@@Abhi-nb1xo Sakyamuni never came to destroy Vedic Dharma. Sakyamuni came to liberate people from the ritualistic domination and superstition of people in the nation. He came to remove the suffering of man. All the teachings of Buddha are found in Vedanta philosophy. When the Buddha came, Vedic dharma was ended and puranic age. All sort of jat pat and superstition springed out. He came to destroy them and simply preach the divinity of each man. Buddhism is the logical development of Hinduism. There is no superstition in gyana kanda of Vedic philosophy. All superstition are made by people then.
