Aghh the Shinonome household is as precious as always... and I really do hope that sometime in the future Akito could bring himself to call Ena as Nee-san, Nee-chan (or with O-- variation) instead of his usual aitsu or Ena yatsu and acknowledge his sisters roundabout ways of showing care to him. But then I guess I am just being wishful about this knowing how big of a tsundere Akito is and a prideful one at that.

He does call her aneki sometimes if i remember right, which is basically a more casual way to say “big sister” or “older sister” still with both intimacy and respect, so kind of like how in english instead of older sister we could say big sis. but he usually only says this when he’s reffering to her / talking about her to other people

Akito is not a kind of person to call Ena as "onee-chan" or something, because its "chan" in it. Im not sure but mostly teen girl (like Saki and Ship) or little kids (no matter the gender) refer to older siblings as oni-chan or one-chan. If their relationship will be fixed a little (like you see, they tense each other and also Ena was scratching his face in the past, so like they were arguing, so they're close but not in a way like Saki and Tsukasa for example) he might start calling her one-SAN or something. Despite the way he calls her, both care for each other. Also, Akito is the person who actually worries about her (in one story I think main story, Ena was crying and saying she will quit art because no one cares for it, and her screams woke up Akito, and he asked if she won't regret destroying her art supplies or something, and asked if it's the fathers fault) Just start loving them the way they are, because most siblings in the world are like them. And that's why I love them so much

I used to hate akito but I recently was watching some stories with akito in it so I can now confirm he is no longer my least favorite character
