가도! I know that feeling! I also feel it with music! 책은 집이다. How do you decide on what to read? Where do you go looking for titles? It was interesting to see Cheryl's view of hiking the PCT changing to a realistic one, which eventually led to that sense of peace she was looking for. You can definitely feel her pain with her past when she talks about her mother and her family, but also the small moments of happiness on the trail. It's not much, but this quote really resonated with me: "Maybe I was more alone than anyone in the whole wide world. Maybe that was okay." P.S. I was going to suggest trading dance videos if you had some! I also don't have many... Maybe two or three? 😅

Good question! If I like some writers, then I take a look at more of their works.. also I watch many youtube videos reviewing books haha. Yes I like how you felt about the book, I really agree. The way how she recognized all the moments was lovely. That was the good one, the quote!! um haha sorry I don't think I can find any of my dance vids 😂

@_this_is__hazel Same here! Which writers do you like? Thanks! I also loved how she would hike together with some of the people she met and then they would go on their separate ways all while motivating each other. Haha no worries! No problem at all.

@@franklinrussel I like Murakami Haruki.. Shally Rooney.. need more recommendations! Yes people she met, they all influenced her definitely. 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this book☺️

@_this_is__hazel Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the book too! Hmm... Kazuo Ishiguro is pretty awesome! So is Lee Min Jin! I think I have more book recommendations than authors though... 🤔😅
