If you don't already know, place fertilizer/compost next to potato plants and then cover it with soil up around the plants (called hilling). It will increase your yield tremendously! Just trying to help.......

Fantastic work. I love that you are restoring this old building. One suggestion in regard to the concrete. The reinforcing steel should be lower in the slab. When it is that high it does virtually nothing to strengthen the slab as a whole.

You work hard. I always think concrete skirts are hard to disguise. Panel it. Stone facade. Make a seating circumference. Smooth it and paint it. It will be interesting to see what you do.

Good progress. Get a mini/micro spade with a short shaft, for mixing concrete/cement in a barrow, much easier, less cumbersome, and less effort than a long shaft spade. For small jobs don't use the mixer it is easier and faster to mix in the wheelbarrow
