Gorgeous bike ❤️🇮🇹⚡️

I used that same Magic Dock Tesla Charger in Scotts Valley, CA to charge my HD LiveWire motorbike last November. Looks like there are still only two locations in the entire state of California to use Tesla chargers for our non-tesla EVs. I believe Tesla has already transitioned away from adding new Magic Dock chargers in favor of adapters, but they only work for EVs tesla has approved. So far that’s only Ford and Rivian, I hope Energica and Harley Davidson will make deals with Tesla so we can use more of their chargers.

What about fixing support for european Tesla chargers? 1000s of chargers ready and waiting. No adapter needed

I have used that station to charge my Experia. Looking forward to the time when I can use other Tesla chargers with an adapter.

So @EnergicaMotorCompany , does this means you have fixed the problem with Tesla chargers in Europe as well? We don't need adapter but apparently the "magic" is still missing.

Could one use the vortex NACS supercharger to CCS adapter sold by lectron or similar adapter to charge the energica at select supercharging stations that dont have the magic dock

from what I heard - charging in EU at tesla SuC, can brick your bike :/

While it's great that you can (should be able to) do this, don't believe for a minute that Energica can just keep releasing bikes with CCS in the US. You have to update the new models to NACS. The Magic Dock is a stopgap solution until all new EVs have NACS here, and the Magic Dock will probably be at only a small minority of Supercharger locations. For EV motos with very limited range, having access to every Tesla charging site is crucial and is basically what I'm waiting for before I buy one.

Tesla will likely open Supercharger access to all CCS enabled vehicles this year, possibly this summer. You would just need to procure a NACS to CCS adapter like the Lectron or A2Z units, and Tesla may eventually sell their own.

@@GregHassler Fair point, and that would solve the bulk of the issue. But would you want to buy any EV that rocks CCS after the rest of the market has moved to NACS? It doesn't inspire confidence. Energica will have to move eventually, if they are still around by then (which I hope they are).

@@thedownwardmachine there is no point in making bikes with NACS until Tesla approves them on the network. This is entirely in the hands of Tesla at this point. Energica cannot do more than they are doing in this case.

​@GregHassler do you know if anyone successfully charged an Energica using the vortex adapter yet? I was thinking of getting one but they are $200 and the closest compatible supercharger according to the tesla app is 80 miles away. Not sure if the app is indicating it has a magic dock or if any supercharger would work with the vortex
