Sorted the noisy pots on my Mackie desk, at last. Pretty confident that it's job done.

Hi Anton,I have the V1 and had it for over 10 yearsI also have the V2 as a back up,I’ve had very few problems except channel 7/8 the slider stopped working but I don’t need it and also I prefer the effects on the v1,great mixer. I used to use an sm58 but came across someone who wanted to trade a Beyerdynamic TG x80 for A 58,i had 3 58's so I swapped one of them,I love the deep Rich tones of the Breyer and now it’s my main mic. Would like you to see you get hold of one and do a review. I love your vids and reviews,you did a review of a mic for Darren Hoey a while back,he’s a good friend and fellow musician.

I use servisol on the pot on my wah pedal too... they always get scratchy ... and don't last forever due to their purpose. Handy on the hifi connections too

Are Mackie products junk? Recently I bought their EM-95ML Lavalier Microphone with In-line Amplifier and had to return it for a refund.

Hmm, since my last spraying (which included all the eq pots) it has been fine but that's a lot of work to undertake on a new-ish desk. Not acceptable, really.

@@AntonBrowne it isn't acceptable at all. I've had several Behringer analogue mixers. Behringher seems to have a quality control issue with the headphone pots which tend to be a bit jumpy. But the only other issue I've had is the right input on one channel has stopped working on one mixer. Some of the online retailers have a three year warranty.
