Drum Beats Online I think meinl and Vic Firth are great company’s, when I started playing I started with Vic Firth sticks and all the demo’s of meinl cymbals I have heard are great, but I feel like different companies are for me(Zildjian,promark,Evans,pearl,Axis percussion for pedals) keep up the good work on All your vids!

Great point. I have a few friends that are endorsed. They don't know each other, but pretty much said the same thing. When ever they play out or make videos they have to use what ever company they use product. Most of the time, it's not an issue. But if you're playing a backline kit that could be a problem. If I were endorsed, I'd go with zildjian. I love the way most of thier products sound. And it's what I use already. First drum choice is ludwig. I love how they sound. And thier not crazy expensive. Second choice is a tie between Gretsch, and PDP. Vic Firth sticks, remo heads, and Gibraltar, or dw hardware.

I would swap out SJC for Tama or Sakae and Remo for Evans, but a great selection nevertheless. Can't go wrong with those great companies. Fantastic gear.

Great video Gabe! This past NAMM Show, I was recently lucky enough to have a company believe in me to get me hooked up with a full set of cymbals at artist discount, and agreed to put me on their website as an endorser. I feel like I got more than I deserve, but am still grateful. That company of amazing people and fantastic cymbals is Amedia Cymbals. They are all handmade in Turkey: My other dream companies are Remo and Vic Firth. I’m not sure about what drum endorsement I would want yet, but I have a vintage Ludwig I really love.

Man, I come back to this video and the best rock cymbals from Meinl one almost everyday, and i don't even have acoustic drums yet.

This guy has both my dream endorsements Vic Firth (love their sticks) and Meinl I have a Meinl classic customs 14" inch trash cymbal as of rn and I love it

Remo that's it! I've tried Evans, Aquarian, and Attack but I always go back to Remo. .. sticks will break and cymbals will crack (costly replaced)... but the heads are what makes the difference live.

I had a Pork Pie endorsement, Pro Mark and Aquarian. None of it was free and all were heavily dependent on my record deal and tour schedule. I was wanting a pork pie kit when I got that deal. Pro Mark approached me after a show in Houston. I was put in touch with Aquarian but never loved their heads so I let that one go and paid retail for Evans. I was very fortunate to play brands that I loved and I would’ve chosen anyway. Great to have support out on tour.

Great video!! Like you, i love my Ludwig Centennial kit and could never part with it. I don't have a cymbal endorsement as such, but an Australian company Rech Cymbals has most definitely helped me out with my new touring set up. I guess my dream endorsement company would be VicFirth. I'm plowing through sticks right now.

Been a diehard Meinl fan for years. I was the first person in my town to get them and I've never played anything else since. Don't see that ever changing. Meinl doesn't miss a beat 🥁

My dream setup. Used to Sabian but after these past two years, I'm almost all Meinl on my setup. Tama drums all day! Evan's especially for the Kicks alone. And I love Promark as of the last few years, but I am interested in trying some new sticks soon.

I want to be endorsed by Los Cabos drun sticks! I trued their sticks and fell in love the black widow sticks.

Thanks for the advice gabe it was really helpful! And my dream company’s are Sjc drums Meinl cymbals Remo drum heads Vater drumsticks And I hope I will get endorsed by those companies in the future.

Meinl cymbals, the buttery spicy sound and the artists they work with are amazing!! someday i will be working with them, hopefully. and promark sticks, drums and heads, i still have not make my choice. and i like what i have now in terms of drums and heads

Oohh if i ever get anywhere with drumming id love Meinl, DW drums, Remo and either Vater or Vic Firth drumsticks by my side!

Tama, Sabian (or Meinl. They're on my kit now, and have been growing on me), D'Addario (evans and promark). pretty much has everything you need covered

Eye opening. I seriously didn't know all that.

Zildjian would be a dream. But I look at it from the angle of no matter what, I’m still going to be playing drums for a living and if I happen to catch a companies attention along the way that would be great!!!

Thanks for sharing Gabe! I've been playing Pearl kits on and off for over 30 yrs. so an endorsement would be cool! And I would love an endorsement from PAiSTe or MEINL! I've been playing the former for over 30 yrs. as well but since I've been watching vids from you, Adam Tuminaro and a few others over the years I've come to love the sounds that MEINL creates!

Hey Rick! I agree with you on the 2002's. Great sounding cymbals! My Hi-Hats and Ride are 2000's and my Crashes and China's are a mix of 2002, Signature, Sound Creation and Twenty cymbals. I'm glad to hear that you are still playing and have adapted so you can play to your ability! Right on! Love the sound of a Hammond B-3. That's very cool that you have a C-3/Leslie 122! You keep on rockin' as well! Cheers brother!

Any other SONOR nuts in the chat?? Great video Gabe, I think almost every company makes a solid product nowadays. There's always personal preference, but relationships matter the most! Until you're Vinnie C. and can get companies to drool just over the thought of having you, I think it's the best move to choose the one that works the best logistically and is also the most reliable. If I ever got a major endorsement from a larger drum company, that would make my world, just for honors sake!! Of course, it's on my end to market myself.

I have a Sonor kit, but the wrap started to discolor, and the people that I bought it from dented it. So I took the wrap off and stained the shells

My dream company to get endorsed by would have to be Istanbul AGOP for cymbals, Remo for heads, Promark for sticks, and Ludwig for drums. All of these brands simply provide the sound and feel that I prefer and think sound the best.

My dream endorsement combo would be Meinl Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Pearl Drums, and Evans Heads

For me since I’m on the orchestral side I’d go with Pearl/Adams, Remo, Innovative Percussion, and Zildjian

I love Meinl Cymbals and you have convinced me to buy some. My question is how often do the traditional medium series crack?

Damn i was excited to see how many sticks Vic sends their artists. That’s what i need the most.

For me it would be a dream come true with Meinl Cymbals. Going for one make of drumheads and drums would be a hard choice i think 😮 For drumsticks i would like VicFirth as well. I've been drumming with them since i started at the age of 12.

I'd love to be endorsed by Collision drumsticks as they have great feel and very durable sticks. I also have become interested with Meinl cymbals as well (especially their extreme metal cymbals).

My dream companies would be Dream cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Remo heads, DW for hardware, and either SJC or Gretsch... haven't made up my mind on that one yet

gonna go with DW drums and hardware with gibralter rack system, sabian, promark/evans and outlaw snares

Remo and Zildjian. That said my Sabian 13” HHX hats are incredible! So crisp. No washy click, just nice and tight.

Ain't it funny that my dream company to endorse is dream cymbals? I just love their sound and the whole philosophy and craftsmanship behind them. Also Vater sticks, I just feel so comfortable playing with them, as for drums, maybe PDP, I'm still not completely sold on that one, tho...

Mine has to be Vic Firth, Zildjian, Dw Drums/PDP Drums or Sabian that is what i dream of Endorsements thanks for the Tip and Awesome Video by the Way.

If I were to choose an endorsement I would choose Agop Istanbul Cymbals, they just have that old school feel I love, as well as they have kept up to the current trends and have adapted their cymbals to keep their style while offering the Newer styles. I would also endorse Vater drumsticks, I have really gotten into (Sugar) Maple drumsticks lately and Vaters got me have had the best feel as I engage in the drums. If I were to do a drum endorsement it would probably be either Ludwig or Pearl just because I know I would be happy with their products based on experience over the years playing their gear.

Mine are the following- Cymbals: Zildjian Drums: Sonor Sticks: Promark Heads: Remo

My dream company would be DW drums. Ive played them exclusively for about 7 years now. Who knows maybe it will happen!

i would definetly go for Sonor because i always played Sonor Drums and for me they have always been the best and the actual factory in germany is pretty close to the place where i live. For cymbals i would go for MEINL.

Paiste!! My right off the top of my head dream endorsement

My dream endorsements: Tama Drums Sabian Cymbals (or Zildjian. I have equal love for both) Remo Drumheads (best heads in the world. Especially snare heads and the powerstroke 3 kick is industry standard) Vic Firth sticks (X5A/X55A)

I guess the thing that puzzles me the most is I've played drums since 1964.In my life span of playing every time I thought this was the drums,cymbals,hardware,sticks and heads that I would stick with,something always grabbed a hold of me . Started out with ludwig,slingerland,pearl,and then to my surprise a company popped up in California called DW ( owned 9 of there kits) and then pearl brought out the reference kit,Tama made some great drums,johnny craviotto zildjian, paiste the same thing.played promark for 20 years,switched to Vic firth same with drum heads.I think you know where this is going!!!!! I've owned over 42 drum kits and I can't tell you how many snare or cymbals I owned over the years. I currently own gretsch USA and pearl reference and now BRITISH DRUM CO. Comes along and slaps me in the mouth. I could never endorse just one company and play just there product. There's to much good stuff out there guys. TRUST ONE THING I SAY and I'll shut up. NO BODY GETS ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE FOR FREE.!!!

Thanks for your insight Dave. I started playing in 1987. I have owned a pdp set. I currently play a refurbished tama set. Me and a friend are working on refinishing a lower end gretsch set that plan on adding to my collection. Too much good stuff on the market these fays!!
