I visited the Royal Orleans hotel where Zeppelin stayed in the French Quarter of New Orleans and had dinner in the Rib Room there. Grand palace right around the corner from the Old Absinthe House bar which is depicted on the cover art of the In Through the Out Door album.

Yes Sir Pope there was two definitive times in music history…BLZ & ALZ…Before LED ZEPPELIN & After LED ZEPPELIN….They did it all and they did it better than anyone ( imho) ☮️

The song is Robert teasing John Paul Jones. Zep loved going to the drag queen bars in Louisiana because they didn't get hassled like they did in other places. According to John Paul Jones, he and a drag queen went back to his hotel to smoke some pot and ended up falling asleep and the lit joint caught the room on fire. Firemen were called and it was an embarrassing situation.
