    Great review and vid! I had the same problem with my Endless 90 when I went to put in my 110mm Spinner wheels. Endless actually states on their website that you need a speed profile wheel. The Spinners are an Urban profile. So there are a lot of high-quality wheels with the narrow speed profile used for marathon and distance skates that are needed for the Endless 3x110mm set up. I ordered some Atom wheels from Inline Warehouse and they work great.

    Man, that was a great flow! And yes, I've said it before but still: your editing is top notch. Such a joy to watch. My Endless Trinity 90 frames arrived three weeks ago and I didn't even have the chance to mount them under my Next skates (too busy working) and try them out (it's been raining for weeks now). And now I've seen your video, I REALLY want to go skating those frames.

    What a well-presented and realistic review. I tried my new frames yesterday with the 4x90 setup. My first thought was also, it might be too agile, but I got used to it very quickly and enjoyed the tight turns. The frames are surprisingly stable on downhills. You're absolutely right about the frame length and foot size. I wouldn't want to miss the ability to do crossovers safely, which would be more difficult on 4x100 frames with small feet.

    I've seen a lot of reviews on these frames but I can't say I've ever really been that tempted by them, until now. A concern for me has always been the length of them, but you seemed to be having a ton of fun on them, and I was surprised to hear you say they felt a tad short. I realise this is subjective, and the rocker obviously comes into play here as well. I like the concept of the wheels, though again, a bit surprised at the soft feel given they are 88a, a wheel I consider to be quite hard. Quality production as always Dude. Hope the shoulder is doing well. 👍

    Wow thanks dude that's a nice compliment. I personally like a longer frame when rockered but these where still fun! As for the wheels, there was no way these were 88a IMO. Thanks again!

    As an owner of the Endless 100, 3x110 on the Endless 100 is where they definitely become waaay to long. So long in fact, that on uneven surfaces you may end up skating antirocker, on a triskate. In my city that is most of the time. I spent that day wondering where the whistling was coming from - turned out it was my middle wheel spinning in the air half of the time. I think if that was my first 3x110 experience I'd be avoiding big wheels today. However the 4x100 is a completely different beast. It's everything I ever wanted from these frames when I purchased them: big wheels, 3 contact positions (triskates just get 2 when rockered), a little bit closer to my slalom and hockey skates than a typical big wheel or aggressive setup in terms of agility. With the shorter wheelbase of the 90, 3x110 should be tolerable, but these frames are really made for rockered 4 big wheels setups first, and a 3 wheel setup as a bonus option for when you want to try something different.

  • @ThirtyandRollin

    @ThirtyandRollin

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@asphyxxiant I could totally see that! IMO I think the Endless 90 is the best 3x110 and the Endless 100 would be the best 4 down rockered setup. That's what I would use each one for.

    @fylraen how do they fit the Spin? I wanted to put them on the FR Spin, but the 5-hole mount plate is why I ended up getting a 7-hole FR2 instead. Might go for the Spin in the end if it fits and aligns fine, since the cuff bolt receiver on FR2 is slowly grinding down my ankle.

    Thanks for the cool review. I also have this frame and I understand what you mean when you say they are a bit short. I had the same impression after using the Ronins or the dragons. However I could get used to the 90/110s after a few sessions. I love how these frames feel with the powerslide infinity 4x90 mm wheels (quite cheap wheels but designed for speed skating), very fast and smooth :) Don't bother with the haters' cooments, they seem to be so bored people looking for excitement from provocation lol

    Looking at R&D, the capabilities and quality, I think they are priced right compared to similar frames. There's nothing wrong with making profits and we don't know the production and development costs that went into these. But, they are in business, and you get into business to make money. There's opportunities at getting their products for less at times plus I see these used online in decent condition so you can always go that route if you wanna give em a shot at a lower price. Remember, just because you can't afford something doesn't automatically make the item at hand "expensive" if it's on par with it's competition. Skating itself isn't inexpensive but compared to other sports it's actually can be affordable. Best of luck✌️

    @@Op614Roll These are excellent points. It is sometimes easy to overlook all the (not fun) administrative expense of running a business for the present and long-term future - website, accounting, state and federal taxes, import duties, merchant fees, shipping, packaging, marketing, customer service, etc. Then of course there are R&D costs as you mentioned, as well as non-recurring productions costs like extrusion tooling. Making 10 prototype frames to test a new idea, and then iterating on that design 2 or 3 times can cost thousands of dollars. All of these things factor into the cost of the products, in addition to being paid a fair salary to engineer the designs and run the company. At the end of the day I strive to create high end products that will take serious abuse, stand the test of time, and give people many years of skating enjoyment. I know the prices of our products may be expensive for some, but we wholeheartedly believe in what we have created and feel they are a worthy investment for skaters that can afford them.

But lockdown made it hard to find quality 90s, had a spare set of 110s, got them on, and now I can't take them off! PS. Totally right about 0 tolerance, had to "shave" the twister edge boot to get the 110s on, but since it worked out in the end, probably it makes the setup even closer to the ground :)

    Hi Robert, the Endless Trinity frames are optimized for the absolute lowest ride height in the 3-wheel configurations. The Endless 90 Trinity in the 3x110 setup is actually lower than Powerslide’s Ego SL 3x110 frame. Keep in mind that Trinity frames need to be compatible with all Trinity boots on the market. So the clearance between the wheels and the Next boot will be different than the clearance experienced on the HC Evo, Tau, Zoom, Swell, etc.

I'm concerend however the gap btw. the 100 mm wheels beeing way to big for city riding, so the 4x90 must be a good trade off concerning stability, speed (is faster than 3x100 or 4x80) and maneuverability.

    Hi Nils, I would recommend that you do the Endless 100 if you want the same experience as those with smaller feet are having. @@ThirtyandRollin just a question reading your answer: what kind of style is your skating? The fact you say the endless 90 was on the edge of being too short for your 41EU seems like you mostly go for stability ("cruising style") than to agility ("Urban style"). I'm a 42 and I was thinking to go for the endless 84 just because it seems more maneuverable on the 4x84 setup than the 4x90 and, at the same time, a very good compromise on the 3x100 when you want to cruise (I'm saying "cruising" but still thinking to an urban setup for commuting than for a marathon :)) Any advice or feedback? thanks

    @@colore76 IMO anything smaller than 290m ish wheel base rockered is very short. Now if it is flat then thats fine. But a rockered frame length that short you will feel over you toes or heels all the time as well as a bit wobbly in turning. Also as you get speed you will get speed wobbles. I would classify myself as an urban skater and yes the fine line between stability and maneuverability is what you want. I have found that with a rockered frame in the 290-310mm range. A rockered frame will make you feel like you are on a much shorter frame or wheel base than you really are. I expressed this with the owner of Endless and even he agrees lol. I would strongly recommend you stay away from the 4x84 unless you have a very small foot or enjoy feeling like you are rolling on one wheel under the arch of your foot😁 Hope this helps!

  • @endlessblading

    @endlessblading

    @@colore76 Some of my skates are size 42 and I definitely feel that the Endless 84 is a little too short for me. If it helps, I honestly designed the Endless 80 (165 mm) and Endless 84 Trinity for my girlfriend who is a size 37. For average skaters just cruising around for fun it will be best for size 39 and below boots. One thing to keep in mind that is when you have a rocker it changes the effective wheelbase, i.e. the wheelbase of the wheels that actually touch the ground. For the Endless Balanced Rocker one will mostly be skating on 3 out of 4 wheels. If you had a flat 255 mm frame then the effective wheelbase is the same as the overall wheelbase...255 mm. The Endless 84, however, has an effective wheelbase of 170 mm, even though it’s overall wheelbase is 255 mm. That makes it extremely maneuverable. The Endless 90 Trinity has an effective wheelbase of 182 mm which is still way more maneuverable than a flat 243 mm or 255 mm setup. The thing that makes our frames awesome is that because the overall wheelbase is longer, you get still get all the front-back stability. Due to the rocker being sub 1 mm you will not experience speed wobbles like you would on a slalom rocker or other more severely rockered frame.
