@ً I say that Gotham is meant to be the dark parts of Chicago and NYC combined. Metropolis is meant to be like the bright parts of NYC and maybe the art district of Chicago (we have a lovely art district and lots of amazing museums here).

From the law's perspective, Jason killed another human being without justification. He wasn't "in his house" or otherwise defending himself, he just talked to him and stabbed him in a restaurant. Just because Joker's a supervillain doesn't make randomly killing him legal.

There are poor mothers in jail right now for multiple years cause they tried to send their kid to a school in a different district or county without living there. Real life is actually way worse.

Reminds me of lock up from TAS. The idea of someone so dedicated to murdering criminals that being sent to jail makes them happy is just disturbingly epic. Jail birds a pretty cool alter ego name anyway!

I read somewhere joker suffers from super sanity which is insanity on steroids (didn't read the comics correct me if I'm wrong) which I'm guessing is one of the reasons why hasn't gotten a death sentence cuz he's sick and beyond help so killing him would be a mercy killing which I guess is defying the creed doctors have I guess and doctors won't do mercy killings in Gotham for some reason it doesn't have to be batman to kill him any doctor could've killed him in Arkham in his sleep but no they kept him alive for plot

Gotham police when Joker kills someone: *oh no! Anyways...* Gotham police when someone kills Joker: *Wait, that’s illegal*

Ultimately, the only ones who stay alive are the same. The Batfamily and friends and the Villains. Civilians, GCPD, Arkham staff. Those are the people who are tortured and killed. No Man's Land should have been just those two groups. No GCPD, no civilians, nothing. Then, we'd see how Batman feels about killing when he and his superhero handful are attacked by billions of criminals from all sides.

It’s not just the fact that he became a monster, or the fact that this was the total opposite of what Bruce’s final wish was (no doubt will Bruce’s soul become restless after this) but it’s the fact that Jason never got a happy ending. He never even got the chance to let people heal him, no matter how much Bruce wanted that for him, more than anything.

I honestly love Jason Todd so much. He's the Dark Knight that Gotham deserves. Unhindered by Batman and the GCPD, he'd set Gotham straight in 3 years tops. Only reason he can't is because DC need to keep making comics 😂

Well damn I understand he killed someone so of course he’d get jail time but a life sentence over joker a sadistic psychopath who kills for fun and probably has more murders then any villain in Gotham and judging by him saying I can serve justice in the inside he’s probably killed criminals in jail too so guessing that why he got the sentence , yikes this is a dark ending. I understand joker isn’t truly himself cause of the chemicals so the true being inside doesn’t really deserve to die but it’s not like they can fix him( I don’t know if it happened or was said in the comics and I haven’t read the comics so correct me if I’m wrong) basically it’s all Batman fault

Yeah basically they’re fine with Joker killing people then breaking out of the asylum just to do it again but when someone finally kills him they see that as going too far. And it’s even worse if they use the excuse that he’s insane because even if they did he’s still aware of his actions, and the chemicals are at fault but there’s nothing they can do about that.

I honestly always believed that the Joker isn't really as crazy as he portrays himself to be, which makes him even more dangerous! I mean you can see it in the actual comic book version of "Under The Red Hood" where Jason actually confronts him for it and all the Joker does is remain silent!🤔 He's an unpredictable psychotic agent of chaos at times, but he's also calculating and manipulative with a well versed knowledge in chemistry ⚗ and works of underground crime, that's how he gets the job done people maybe scared of Batman 🦇, but they're are terrified of the Joker 🃏

@@KC_rodriguez I don't support the death penalty under any circumstances because it's barbaric and Batman likely does not support it either. But under current US laws the Joker would have been executed unless a) Gotham is in a State that does not have the death penalty or b) he's insane so he cannot be executed because criminals that have been deemed insane via a successful insanity defense are not considered responsible for their actions.

I would’ve loved to see how the 12 person jury that consisted of everyday citizens of Gotham City came to the unanimous decision to convict Jason of homicide, given that his victim was The Joker. The guy whose filled more graveyards in that city than anything or anyone else, suddenly killing THAT guy is wrong. You’d think the cops & the D.A. would have figured a way to cover it up or charge Jason with a lesser crime, given who the victim was, regardless of Joker appearing “reformed”.

Nope, they are law enforcement officers and the law applies to everybody in the same way: if the Joker kills someone they will arrest him. If Jason kills someone (no matter who it is) they will arrest him for that as well.

That’s a cool concept, a superhero bogey man in jail who beats up the bad guys while a superhero boogey man beats the bad guys into jail. Like either way you’re terrified

Jason isn't the one who is locked up with the prisoners, it's the prisoners who are locked up with Jason.

I feel like if Bruce saw this ending it be the worse one, he would be so sad the reason he made Jason robin was because he knew if Jason grew up on the streets in a life of crime he'd grow up to do wrong so he tried to give him a better life. Now Bruce's fears are a reality. The Jay bird turned jail bird 🐦😥

There is another where talia gives damien to jason this is the ending where batman and jason survive but something snaps inside jason's body and well damien is given to him to which he says he will train him to hate batman and even possibly kill him

I didn't mention this earlier, but I feel like this is hinting at the 2011 "Batman and Robin #23" where that version of Jason is also in jail killing his inmates

Even Batman has a lot of scars and bruises, we just don't see it because of his cowl. But in scenes or panels when he does take his cowl off, we see that his body is riddled with scars od past fights. Most likely, he takes a lot of body shots.

@@petrospago3515 Nope, believe it or not, it's much harder not to get cut by a knife even if you're a professional who trained your whole life. The majority of the big scars are probably from those villains like Joker, or Killer Croc, or King Shark, but no doubt, there were some cuts inflicted by normal people too.

Because in this position he could kill as many criminals as he wants/has to as they come in. Blowing up the prison only means he kills all the prisoners in that prison at that time
