No matter how old you are. I had it as a young 25 year old travelling around. I revisited the same girl a few times over a few years but They couldn’t give a monkeys once you’re on the plane.. They spread bet. You’re probably one of 2-3

The reason so many men overstep the relationship, promise too much, and leave heartbreak and hurt feelings behind them is because they've never had a girl like them before and they are desperate and willing to do anything to keep what they think they have. I've been thinking a lot about what you said about how the bars don't bring you a towel to wipe your sweat anymore, and the thing about that is western women have gotten so much worse in the last 20 years that Thai bar-girls don't need to do nearly as much as they once did to appear to be super-stars in the eyes of western men.

Haven’t they just , I find Western women impossible to date , During my 20 months back in Covid UK when on a good few dates but found them awkward at best , here in Mexico got a wonderful date after only a week

I had one trash my room long ago. Eventually she left the room. Most of my stuff was destroyed. A couple of days later, I found her hiding in the bushes near my condo entrance. She said she had been there every night since she left to see if I brought anyone back. Since then, I only use short time rooms and never tell them where I live.

After spending the evening with a woman in Koh Samui I told her it was nice to meet her and sent her on her way. When she was leaving I explained to her that I had a business meeting at a restaurant that evening and that I would not be able to see her. Well, that was a mistake! At 5PM sharp (reservation was at 6) she showed up at my door dressed to impress for dinner. I explained to her that I could not take her to dinner and the pouting began. Eventually she left and I made my way to dinner (on the other side of the island). My buddy and I get done with dinner and walk into a gogo bar directly across the street from the restaurant. Wasn't feeling the vibe so we left after one beer and guess who's waiting outside, arms crossed, and shooting daggers with her eyes. Learned early that the Thai stalking game is second to none!

The key thing here is to only get in a relationship with a girl who works a daytime job not a bargirl. It’s actually very easy to meet girls who work white collar professions on badoo and some bigger salaries than I did. The courting or dating process is well worth it to avoid chaos and stalking. If you chose to see a bar girl more than once (even if it’s a barfine) make sure she understands ‘this is just for fun and not for a relationship’. Just say it once at the end of each night before you leave the entertainment area. If you aren’t clear with your boundaries she will try to claim you especially if it’s obvious you can provide a better lifestyle for her. This video explains the psychology very well!

When l was in thailand 30 years ago l was a buddhist monk and walked around all those places you mention and was shown the utmost respect by everyone. A farang monk is big in their eyes and l was often invited into their homes even though l struggled with the language.😀

Thank you so much again, for an excellent video. Do not promise more than you’re willing to commit. I’ve had to make it very clear with both Filipina and Thais that we are in the friend zone on a test run and it’s up to them if they want to test drive for a while, but I am in no way anything close or even remotely similar to a permanent sugar daddy. I always explain to them that I cannot afford to support them or their family in any significant way, and that I expect her to do her part by also working. I got many walkaways with anywhere from three days to three months, but one day when I was not looking I ran into a business professional in Isaan, and it just happened. We were both very upfront on what we expected of each other and it’s been eight wonderful years so far.

Broke it off with my thai wife very recently. Gave her almost half a million usd in 2 years (she blew it all) and gave her every waking moment of my time. She still cheated then constantly threatend suicide if I left her. My father killed himself just a year ago, so that one hit a deep spot. They know how to manipulate you, and they don't care about the negative affect towards you either. At the end of the day it was only about money for her, regardless of her constantly saying it wasn't. Being in good shape as a not bad looking young man didn't account for anything, except gaining face for her to show me off. Lucky for me she wasn't smarter and wait a couple more years to show her true self, otherwise she could have been looking at getting some serious money from me as we where trying for a baby. I just cut contact, as I told her I would at the very start of the relationship if she ever cheated. Gotta say though no appreatiation for all I did for her, was the only thing that surprised me. Only renting for me from now on, never buying again. Yes i got fooled but best acting I have ever seen. Still don't know what was real or fake. Just don't care anymore to find out. Thai women are ruthless and wouldn't put anything past them now.

Thai and Cambodian girls can go crazy if a man finishes with them, though for some reason Vietnamese, Burmese, and Lao girls are a lot more reasonable and sensible. My theory is that Thai and Khmer (Cambodia) girls base their behaviour on the silly local soap operas they are brought up on. To the guys in the comments who say women are the same everywhere, that just indicates you have never been in a relationship with a Thai or Khmer girl. Very few Western, African, or South American girls would whip out a knife and try to stab you in the jugular when you break up with them, but few Thai or Khmer girls won't. Anyway, the best way to end a relationship with a Thai girl is to not enter into any such relationship in the first place, and the best way to do that is to not present yourself as the sort of guy a Thai (or Khmer) girl would *want* to have a relationship with. So, how do you do that? Easy! As I have said before, never advertise your wealth; you *never* benefit. I never tell a girl that I own properties or that I have shares in businesses. Why would I need to ever tell them that? How would I benefit? When they ask me what I do I tell them the truth, that I am retired. Since they can see I am in my early 50s they always get excited at that point (early retirement = dollar signs!), but I fib and say I was offered early retirement in the economic downturn of 2008/2009 and it only amounts to the same as a state pension. If I take them to my Pattaya condo (which would be rare) I just say it belongs to a good friend of mine and he lets me stay there for free. There are no pictures of me on the walls, only stuff I have collected from the countries I formerly lived and worked in, so they have no reason to disbelieve me. I wear normal clothes and do not lead an extravagant lifestyle so they have no reason to suspect I am playing possum. My watch is very expensive (it is an outdoor expedition device) but it is black, plastic, and chunky and so looks like a US$5 Casio digital watch. I have no gold or silver rings, bracelets, or necklaces, or any other ostentatious baubles. Remember, if you let a girl know you are comfortable financially - and she wants to be with you - then you will never know if she wants to be with you to be with you, or if she is just after your money. So, to the guys who think they have found a Thai (or Khmer) girl, especially a bar girl, who they think is "different" (how many times have I heard that one!) then this is my advice: Tell her you have lost *everything* on the stock exchange, and/or that the bank have foreclosed on your property/properties, and/or that your business partners have kicked you off the board, etc. Tell her that, as a result, you will need to get a job in Thailand teaching conversational English, either via private lessons or at a language school, and you estimate your income will be THB40,000 in a good month. If she is still there by the time you finish the sentence then you might have found that one in a million, though most will be long gone. A few friends of mine have on my advice tried this test and their GF who "loved" them either left that very night (!) while they were sleeping or was no longer there when they got home, never to be seen again.

Trevor, loss of face is the big thing for them. Saying that I've had a few very nasty situations here in Australia when I've broken off the relationship. I've been stalked, assaulted and continually verbally abused in public and over the telephone. You would have to have rocks in your head to get seriously involved with a woman you met in a the night life industry. Normal relationships are hard enough without all the baggage they come with.

Hi Trev, great topic and anyone that has been to Thailand before will realise that this can be a fact of a serious relationship with a Thai girl whether it is you or a friend. One recommendation I have is to leave it way further down the track before you go back to the village and meet the family. Yes it is a great side trip and a lot of fun to go to a Thai village and get treated like a 'Rock Star' especially if you go to a very remote place, FFS I got followed through the village by kids as the only Westerners they see were on TV, so they automatically thought I was a movie star (Si Songkram was the closest town, however small it was in itself) The mere fact that you meet the family and friends means a lot to their 'Face' within the immediate people to her, I paid for the BBQ and alcohol for the party, which wasn't discussed with me, I just got given the bill and we went to the markets and loaded up the bike (with side-car) with food. The only good thing is that if this was a western party the alcohol cost would have been ten times more (at least) as most Thai men are 3 or 4 pot screamers, their wives usually drove them home earlier than 10 pm as they were maggoted. (3 large beers and the repeat stories and compliments, in broken English started flowing) Another piece of advice I have is 'ALWAYS TIP THE SECURITY GUARDS' of your hotel, it solves a lot of problems as they will make a point of remembering your face, name and room number so any issues unless you are a nob, it will be fixed immediately, plus the cops will ask them for their opinions of you as a person if they are required.

I think the following could be a good strategy: 1. Change my place in advance to avoid her stalking me later 2. Break up with her sending a message in Line. Then block her everywhere. 3. No direct contact, so that she cannot freak out and start breaking things against my head. Of course, it is harder to do if we are living together 😂😂😂

Wow thanks for telling your story I have done a similar story living with a violent girlfriend she was the life of the party, people thought she was so sweet but wow when she turned angry it cost me 1,000’s of baht smashed everything. Sorry you went through this but your the 1st person who also had the same experience. Me to also involving the police I was covered in blood. Thanks for sharing.

You're a good man Trever. You're very sincere, I had a girl before the pandemic who's gone off the radar (not a bargirl). I think she's ran off with a Thai or an old man. Hopefully I won't look for her when I come back but I cant promise anything.
