The Boss illo turned out so good! I’ve been wondering, are you treating the first layer of watercolor as a sort of under painting, since you’ve been going over most of it with gouache?

yes exactly. I like when it peaks through throughout. I think it makes the final illo richer and also creates some nice edgelighting when my shapes don't fully align!

I recently bought the liquitex acrylic inks and was wondering if you had any tips on how to use them? You always get sick great texture and color payout, but so far mine are not coming out well. Maybe it’s the paper but I’m not sure. In addition what is the paper you use haha thanks if you see this and reply! Or if anyone in chat knows please and thank you

Hey check the materials section odmf my new yeara solutions for creatives. Make sure you use paper with a suoer high cotton content. Paper is super important for the performance of water based paint. Also don't water it down if you want heaos of colour. but also, don't overwork it otherwise itll get muddy

Machi machi!!!! They dont have as many flavours. I like the pekoe jasmine green tea with pearls and also the strawberry slush with pearls. Gong cha has a nice apple green tea with pearls. Not sure if there's one in the city but tea struck has a nice grape green tea with pearls!!!
