It should actually tell you how much bigger Drake is than Kendrick. Kendrick makes niche music. Idk why that’s so hard for some people to accept it’s not going your way be playing everywhere
Love the way Akaash put it, Kendrick got more Grammys, better albums, more creative and beautiful production, better live shows, only thing drake is above in is popularity, in terms of actual artistry Kendrick is leagues above drake.
@kuda6578
Ай бұрын
This is what people who don’t know what art is think. Everything you mention is all opinion besides more Grammy’s, which being honest hasn’t meant anything in a long time. Drake being more popular is a reflection of making music that resonates BETTER. Kendrick is niche, but for some reason you guys think it means better.

@@kuda6578 I have to disagree man, what makes an album good is, concepts, creativity, storytelling, creating a world of soundscapes with music. It’s a music discussion so it’s always gonna be opinion based, drake has ghost writers man, his production isn’t very creative it’s pretty much the same cookie cutter trap stuff everyone else is producing right now, the reason Kenny doesn’t have as many hits and doesn’t put as much music out is because he actually gives a fuck about telling a cohesive story and creating a conceptual quality work of art which takes time, if he wanted to he could make hours and hours of stereotypical ego/gloat bars and be more mainstream but he makes music for art and self expression, drake makes pop rap for money and throws mid live shows with no production value, imo drake is extremely overrated, drake being popular is a testament to his ability to ride trends and waves, ability to appeal to the masses does not mean you make good art, it just means you can do just that appeal to a broad range of people by not stepping out of your comfort zone creatively or taking any risks musically.

51:23 Akaash coming in with the Indian giants being Jinder Mahal & The Great Khali was perfect!!!!!😂🤣
Mark needs to go on Rogan. Hes so chill and well spoken
Akash missed the entire point rofl. It's Cody's story not Roman's. Roman had his own story but that wasn't the main theme of mania. It was Dustys kid finally bringing the belt to his family
@1andDONEson
Ай бұрын
Completely, cause when the announcer way crying saying 'A NEW...' she cried because people love Cody and hate Roman and not because Roman is probably retiring... #goofball
The Drake stan-ing is so biased. Saying last show that Kendrick is more artsy, and that Drake is more mainstream and then saying “Drake is better because he is omnipresent. He is in the club, played in the stores.” is so biased. Of course Drake is played in those places- he is making music for those places. Drake is making hit music for the masses, whereas Kendrick is making music as an art masterclass and not looking for radio hits. Drake makes easy to digest lyrics that don’t require a thesaurus to put together. It’s the Jordan/Lebron/Kobe argument.

@@730haitian7 there was a rivalry between Em and Wayne. Wayne made it clear he was The Best Rapper Alive when everyone began to really stamp Eminem as the goat. Wayne has a couple famous clips where he was saying Eminem is scared of him when Wayne was beefing with 50. Like a year later he was still laughing at Em calling him scared. Em came back out with Seduction calling out Wayne for his heart on his sleeve tattoo and asking him why he keeps hollering Ems name for in response. Em was stating that Wayne had a weird hard on (NO DIDDY) for him. That was the song in which Eminem referred to in Talking To Myself where he said he almost went at Wayne. Seduction remained but was redirected from an official Wayne diss. Eminem later took shots in Forever. Dissing everyone on the track. Ems verses on No Love and Drop The World had shots on Wayne. Eminem had stated in the past that he likes dissing ppl on the same song and that they’re usually too stupid to even notice. So it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
