14 yards at 99 dollars, that a little over 7 a yard, I'd rather buy just what I like fire that price

Hancock of Paducah has clearance fabric for 7.99 and less, and you can pick what you want.

I didn’t care for any of those fabrics. Not anything I would use. But the what’s important is that you like them.

I've bought 4 of these and liked most of the fabrics I received. Boxes included some unusual fabrics that I wouldn't have bought, but I actually found a good use for them. Main reason I bought them - the mystery.😊

You get it! It’s so fun starting with random fabrics and then something gets created you would have never planned for without it! 🥰

The strip “fall border” you could make into a table runner. Use that piece as the center focal and accent with piano keys or a leaf block. I love this box….so many different fabrics and nice size portions

That is a lot of fabric! I liked the grunges, and my favorite of all was the sort of cream color with the speckles all over it. I do wish you'd gone a little slower & opened the fabrics out a bit more, but I get it - you were excited (who wouldn't be??) and I know I wouldn't have wanted to have to refold it all LOL. Have fun with your new treasures!

That first one was a Benartex wide back...so worth quite a bit more. Quilted twins has a lot of fabric at 6.99/yd all the time - not wide backs though. Wasn't that one you called an ombre also Stonehenge? I didn't see the name on the selvage.

Does the $7.07 per yard include the shipping costs? It is a competitive price considering the price of fabrics these days, and does save some time since you don't have to go to the store and pick out everything, so for just padding out your stash, it works. However, I am on way too tight a budget to spend on fabrics I may not even like, and I am way too picky for that. Glad you liked what you got though! Happy sewing.

The use of pieces less than a half yard are endless. I purchase end pieces at JoAnns that size at really great prices and love them for bags, bag linings, pockets , adding strips to other fabrics, appliqué’s, when you need a small piece for a patch . Endless uses. I have bought smaller mystery boxes at a more reasonable price, and such fun . Fabrics that I would not normally buy but when I saw all of them , I knew they would be used. I would never pay 100.00 for a mystery box. The chance of receiving more fabrics that you would not like increases. I only liked a half dozen in this box.

Hmm, they fit whatever the can in the box, or it’s by weight. A few of the fabrics I got were flannel, so that took up more space. Maybe under ideal conditions 20 can fit!
