An example i can go back to as a 90s kid watching us give a guard of honour as chelsea walked the league and then few years later we got our revenge i know the rivalry isnt the same like derby but it was a fierce rival at the time jose with wenger and saf but in the end he made his squad embrace that embarassment and repaid chelsea afterwards thats what a manager should do and relaistically the fans should support should they want to progress into being winners
