If your taking about going through the 3 difficultys...there is a merchant in the final expantion that sells an item which let's your other characters start from higher difficulties.

I see it this was said 3 years ago. I just discovered this game to fill the void waiting for D4 and wow, D4 has a lot to live up to GD is very high quality. It still stands up great for a new player. And the writing in the logs and diaries you find is top notch.

This game is ridiculously underrated.

It's good. A global chat option would have been huge. Hard to play these types of games completely alone for me. No feel of community

Mike, I just want to say thank for doing so many amazing videos for Grim Dawn. I know Grim Dawn isn't the most popular game to stream or to do dedicated KZread content for it, but having someone like you to look forward to makes scrolling through KZread and Twitch looking for Grim Dawn related videos a blast to do. I think the biggest part is the insanely huge replay value! every time i complete a Set, I immediately want to level a new hero just to have fun with that set's bonus.

This was an amazing video, Grim Dawn is such an incredible and underrated game, its nice to see people that make good content for this amazing game :) Keep up the good work !

Every time I open one of your videos I think I left playback speed at 1.5x speed. Great content though! I'm new to GD and your vids are very helpful

I've seen recommendations for other videos on youtube that take an hour to explain what you crammed into a quick 5 or 6 minute video. Very well done, I don't use twitch in any fashion but I would definitely donate to your content creation. Given your attention to detail, time management, not to mention your quick and to the point explanation style... we need more content creators like you. wow i just bought the vanilla game and so far i love it! after watching this video i didnt realize theres so much more in this game. I just play this game for a few hours when i need a break from warhammer online but man this game can keep me busy like an mmo. :)

Oh I love this idea, where you can play the campaign over and over and get loot from shrines and unique bosses. I hope they will implement this very soon.

Alternative character lol. I think it's a WoW term honestly.

Grim Dawn > Diablo 3, for my taste it is even better than d2. I loved Titan Quest and grim Dawn as a spiritual successor with so much more systems is a dream come true. The only thing that it misses is a closed multiplayer, so no cheaters, probably way more people playing etc

Christoph Luger nothing is better than d2. If d2 was released with current day graphics and bigger map/content, even poe wouldnt even up for competition.

I just got this game about a week ago and have been having such a blast! my first charater is lvl 55 and soon to be done with the base game (I think). Loved the video as it gave a good overview of what is to come, thanks!

Hey man. Thanks for the video trying to figure out how the endgame is. This video was perfect!

I've never understood the need for "end game" content. All the possibilities for alt characters is all I really need. Levelling a character is fun to me; once I reach 100, it just gets boring. Hell, even when I unlock all the skills and devotions I plan to use, the fun factor drops by a bunch because there isn't as much to shoot for any more. That being said, I realize that everyone's tastes are different and I'm glad GD has end-game content if for no other reason than to attract more players to this great game.

One more endgame option that people often miss: hoarding iron, hoarding scrap then dumping it all at the blacksmith in hopes of getting a double-rare rolled Stoneplates or other only craftable item of your choice :,D

It's funny I was just talking to someone about this on stream the other day.

I just bought the game only level 54 ! And on the last area on dlc. Do I play another rnd of campaign and put level up till u get level 100? Then start end game stuff.

I bought Grim Dawn cause it was cheap and i finished the campaign, i was wondering if the game had good end game mechanics bc i didnt know if i should buy the expansions, this answer my questiones, thx u 💙

Shattered Realm and Crucible are extremely boring especially when first starting out and slogging through the early grind for little reward. Nemesis and super boss fights are a fun gimmick once or twice but then that falls flat as well. Roguelikes are the closest thing to end game but by the time you reach 100, you've already played them a few times. Alts are really the only good endgame.

Fun gimmick once or twice.

Wanted to play an ARPG after seeing the D2 remaster announcment, tried path of exile and couldnt really get into it. Didnt enjoy the aestetics or the story telling of it. so just go this for £5 off GoG. looking forward to giving it a go.

Purifier is probably the highest dps build - but warlord is so much fun to play... even archon is very fun and we cannot forget the trusty old battlemage ;) Yeah, I just cannot decide on my fav

i wish my laptop could play this smooth :[ edit: btw the last time i played was around 2 years ago... did they have any optimization patches during the last 2 years? :o

Could always try downscaling and play at 1280x720 might look a little pixelated but will run smoother.

I'm fairly new to the game and havent played SR much yet. Do you recommend playing it on normal difficulty if your character is not super strong? i have killed Kubacabra, Kra'vall, Mad Queen and cleared couple of the skeleton key dungeons on Ultimate, but i still need to find some items.

Yes since you can unlock waystones for higher shards, so that you won't have to start from shard 1 in ultimate later.

You forgot 2 Incredible Fights Which is Mogdrogen a one Time Kill ( make sure you got 120% Lightning OVER cap Resist on Ultimate and if you can even more) and if anyone Dies he normally becomes Immortal ... ( i do not know if they changed this because i did not kill him in the Newest Patch but killed him more then 30 Times and in the Past he will stay on his last HP and does not Die if anyone died before) and the Crate Box Secret Boss

One more Thing : And If you meet Players with 2 Floating Crystals .... and a Violet Maggot you can be sure they are Veterans ... Because to get Both Crystals you need to Finish Hargates Quest with 2 Chars on Ultimate You get the Violet one giving him the Recipe .... and Refusing to give him the Recipe is the Aether one ... the Maggot you can get DEEP in the Shadow Realm 70+ Its a Celestial Orb which summons a Violet Maggot

I think in this video I used Oathkeeper/Arcanist. I like Soldier/Arcanist as a starter build most though.

@@TheBrumbas49 soldier/arcanist is a bit confusing build, you should try something classic like soldier/nightblade (melee) or shaman/occultist (pet or caster), i think these are the easiest to playthrough and endgame

I got alot from tomb of the Heretic. I have a video about this on my channel or check this i.redd.it/0bk02vjsbc341.jpg but any named boss in Forgotten God's content can drop them. Even Messenger in the Pit of Atonement can drop them. So you can try farming him a few times see if you have any luck.

When a small studio can keep bringing quality stuff out like crate and constantly tweak and make things better for free...it makes me feel twice as invested. And it's not about selling skins because all the weapons have implemented 3d art work for legendary weapons...unlike path of exile, and I see last epoch setting up to follow suit too unfortunately.

I truly belive there is a small minority out there who sustain the game out of compulsive spending..the prices create a sence of value and the sales create a sense of urgency and the fake currency left over dares you to get a little more..its how steam sells so many games i dont need lol...but for certain people not the odd buyer like me,they just cant help buying...and skins cost as much as a real game at retail price before gambling the left over on crates...the things I don't like about one game leave a niche for grim dawn to fill tho and vice versa...two very good games tho...but man if ggg just put skin packs for £7 imo they would make so much more money and take financial pressure of an abused area of the market...just my two bits on it..sorry for the paragraph

Id suggest all of them. The latest, forgotten gods, has some of the best end game stuff like shattered realm and also transmuting and one of the best dungeons.

Yeah, gaining experience is what makes me motivated to keep grinding. It feels rewarding to me.

Grim Dawn is such a long game, you can get tired with just Sp

watching at 0.75X, feeling much better..

I just started the d2 remake mod from grim dawn called reign of terror, but after I finish with it I will have to actually play the base game as well

"Farming" in Grim Dawn....a single player game...especially with GD stash, grinding a single player ARPG gives me no motivation

Noooo I want to make alts but I really don't want to play that over rated nonsense game. I'm kidding it's not that bad. Unless you played Morrowind then it makes you shed a tear the past.

2020?!? I don't know why but I can't bring myself to play this game anymore.. it's plain boring, actual game play is simple but frustratingly repetitive, the whole character build system seems like forced to be complex, make a hard thinking for each build but for what?? The game play itself is just the same, it's all about facetank/kite monster , click and loot.. I don't feel any real character build diversity in there.. the addition of expansion, dlc, etc it's just make the game worst and longer ofc..

Too bad the game looks like shit
