Based on the best-selling horror action game, Silent Hill stars Radha Mitchell (Man on Fire) as Rose, a desperate mother who takes her adopted daughter, Sharon, to the town of Silent Hill in an attempt to cure her of her ailment. After a violent car crash, Sharon disappears and Rose begins her desperate search to get her back. Laurie Holden nailed the role as Cybil. I wish they didn't kill her off so unsatisfactorily.

Well Rose did technically get the bad ending after all. She never talked to Lisa or got the Aglaophotis or even Met Kaufman... Let alone accidentally Summon the Incubator / Incubus and take home Heather...

@@leliel6767 The movie was rushed. If they wanted to take a new path, they could have kept to the mythos within the movie's universe, not trying to blend it with the game when it's not exactly consistent with the game.
I always hate it when the person says - stop, don't move. I mean those creatures will always come forward to kill you.

This movie terrifies me and drives me crazy at the same time. 1.) Why would the officer even consider trying to reason with this creature by asking it to stop 2.) Why in God's name would the other girl run off in the direction the creature came from away from the officer with the fire arm!! Omg😩

Cybil Bennett is a police officer and in this situation she simply drew on what she learned in her training how to deal with threats. In this situation, finding her runaway daughter was more important to Rose than staying with the cop

This movie had killer special effects and make up, but had wayyyy too much stupidity for the sake of plot advancement
And that was just one creature. 2:57 I counted 3 more on that hill, and these are the more tame of the silent hill monsters too.
