The brotherhood's armor was good but not better than that of the enclave. Especially why in the fallout series it is explained that they had a welding failure in the abdomen, things that the armor They fixed and perfected the Enclave, if the enclave loses it is because of whoever writes the script, otherwise they would have already achieved their objectives

Rather love a flawed faction like the Enclave, better than "hurr durr BoS trying to be good for the 4th time". To me the Enclave is just a way more stronger and honest version of the NCR, good soldiers directed by bad leaders. Bless the Enclave, unless I need power armour to jury rig with.

@@ramudasanjuu tactics can get a pass since it is disconnected from the rest of the BOS and is in an incredibly harsh part of the wasteland, so they kind of have to fill the role of the "good" guys.

Only Eden wanted to poison the water, the rest of the Enclave just wanted to distribute clean water.

They aren’t even the proper bad guys in Fallout 3. Everyone tells you that but in reality they just want to control the purifier so they can make sure everyone gets fresh water. Like the brotherhood they hate supermutants and it’s never explicitly stated that they hate non-feral ghouls.

They're the villians because a section of the enclave in 3 wants to inject a modified FEV virus into the water supply to kill everyone who drinks it. Another half that is fighting that side wants free drinking water for the wasteland but doesnt want the BOS to control it since they believe the enclave has the right to the wasteland. Thats why they're the bad guys there.

The enclave is last hope for non-mutated children in future generations with no problems with mutation and radiation

This makes me think of that one video I watched where the Vault Dweller died and the Master won, where the BrotherHood and Enclave had to team up to defeat the Mutant army and ended up sorting out their differences and rebuilding America together. With their collective powers, they could have thoroughly tamed the wasteland, and if the NCR stepped in, maybe even a mix of old world democracy. What a bright future we would have had, if we could all have just come together.

Colonel Autumn I think deep down saw that killing the people of the wasteland wouldn't solve anything, that's why he talked Eden out of it, he saw the value, even if it was just strategic value, of the common wastelander and that the future would be to help and aid the people, not kill them all.

Brotherhood of Steel was too dizorganized, unable to maintain the doctrine of their mission splitting them into two seperate factions. The BoS and Outcasts. Unlike the Enclave who despite not sharing similar beliefs still maintained their composure and continue their mission despite Colonel Autumn massive disagreement with President Eden. That was the most impressive part about the enclave I've seen in Fallout 3. On the way now to New Vegas.

what made the enclave my favorite faction was how things like autumn' rebellion in 3, gannon's crew in new vegas and fallout 76 along with mods like new california & america rising making them joinable gave them a more humanized take and fleshed them out to being more than just "lol kill the dirty wastelanders" or "the facist power fantasy" that some people like to make them out to be.

Enclave could be a better faction, if scenarists didn't decide to make them "regular bad guys". Take a Autumm for example - his motives are logical, he don't want to make autistic genocide that were invented by crazy AI. He wants to provide people of Capital Wasteland a clear water and start to build a new order. Maybe it will be a "para-mlitary dictatorship", who knows? But it would be interesting to see an Enclave as "strong hand that brings a tough order to Wasteland" instead of "oooh loooook naaazies, baaaad guys!!1"

If the enclave is lead by colonel autum it should be amazing ! 🇺🇸

All I can say is that without help from the main character Enclave W it’s a true story for me I’m just sitting there after blowing up Megaton just listening to the Enclave radio

The Enclave is not bad, they are simply doing what they have to do to survive. Remember survival of the fittest ? Guess what ? The rest of the wasteland lost before the chosen one showed up. If anything, what the Enclave were doing would eventually return back the pre-war world exactly like how it was. Specially what the Enclave was trying to do in Fallout 3.

You know that.. returning to how things were before the war would be.. just a terrible idea? Before the war America was a corrupt, imperialist, authoritarian state that consumed everything around it to keep itself alive. With corporatist groups slowly driving the world further towards the end for the sake of profits. The Enclave aren’t doing what it takes to survive, if they were they would actually have tried to cooperate with others rather than kill everyone who wasn’t them.

It's not that I think The Enclave is good its that something about that sheer power, unbreakable will, and pure intimidation just makes them so cool. We know Darth Vader was part of the dark side but we couldn't help ourselves but think that he's such a badass.

Lowkey though, finding Modus gave me the drive to play 76 even longer than I had originally intended. How is it the only Enclave characters I have ever respected were old farts or AIs?
