Enchanted Voyage - Kings Island boat ride

Ойын-сауық

Composite from different sources. The Enchanted Voyage at Kings Island in the Seventies and Eighties featured characters from many Hanna-Barbera shows, including The Banana Splits, The Hillbilly Bears, and The Adventures of Gulliver. Imagine getting into a boat on a hot summer day and being met by a blast of cool air and a whiff of chlorine as you enter the tunnel... the ride begins.

I bought Gullivers white dog, Tagg from a dealer in Cincinnati. He still works and it is surreal to see him in this clip and then see him sitting in my home .

Such a nostalgic ride back to my early days at Kings Island! Absolutely one of my favs of all time! Hanna Barberra land was a kids dream...sorta like Willy Wonka' s Chocolate Factory.

Same. We call it “Pirate Water” as in the Disney attraction Pirates of the Caribbean. Enchanted Voyage was my favorite as a child

Great video. This was always a "take a break" ride. The A/C always felt good! Very nice!

    It’s just a projected cartoon, and I think it’s a dancing ghost.

The clown's teeth used to come down in between the exiting boats, but apparently had been removed before this footage was shot. I superimposed a brief still of the clown with teeth as a reminder.
