Check out how I think about Enantiomers, Diastereomers, Chiral, Achiral , and Meso nowadays! It's evolved quite a bit since when I was student/first started tutoring. I used to always think about things in terms of using a mirror to look for the enantiomer and now I've switched to just thinking about stereoisomers by analyzing the wedges and dashes of the stereocenters.
I also remember how big of a headache Chiral/Achiral/Meso used to be for me and how much I avoided doing problems involving them because I was so intimidated by the topic.     at 8:40, which atom were you referring to in which you could flip the solid wedge into a dash? Br or Cl?
